Hollow does a thorough search of the room and is able to determine that it isn't used constantly, but it does get used occasionally for storage. It doesn't look like the areas around the secret doors are often used.

"Secret doors should be fun," says Kama, sitting atop a barrel and leaning against his maul. "Which one to take, if we do?"

Short rest is 1 hour, I believe. Are we hanging out here that long?

Wish offers the other potion to anyone who needs it. Then he doffs his pack, leans up against it, and "Wake me if you need me to watch..." ... takes a nap.

Kama remains awake, keeping his back against the far wall so he can keep an eye on both doors and the cavern opposite. He pulls the red cloak further around his shoulders, and hopes that he can pass for a Redbrand from a distance.

Hollow finds a spot away from the others and sits with her new book in her lap. She doesn't open it, she just contemplates it, sitting there. After a few minutes she sits back and seems to relax. Her eyes droop to a half closed position, but she does not fall asleep.

Kama speaks quietly so as to not disturb the sleeping genasi, though perhaps he is speaking more to himself than to anyone in particular. "Find the wizard, strike hard and fast. Don't let him get any spells off. Close in, physical, mind the hands and words."

He sounds worried.

Wish comes awake at the sound, stretches and says with a yawn: "As far as we know, he's a person like any of us. Probably he bleeds like any of us." But he nods as the sense of Kama's words sink in and he comes more fully awake. "Yes, let's bring him to justice, and put a stop to the Red Band menace." He looks at where Kama pointed out the secret doors and nods again, approvingly. "How about this door on the left?"

"Whose left?" asks Kama. He himself has his back against the wall in-between, facing the open cavern.

"MY left, as I'm standing here facing you. Your right, I suppose." He taps on the door lightly. "This one." He looks around at the rest of the group, then listens at the door before opening it.

"I don't hear anything. Let's try it and see!" Wish opens the secret door if he can (just to be clear - it's the one to the left of the entrance from the cavern, on the roughly western wall).

The door opens easily on well-hidden hinges to reveal a small room with a staircase leading down to another door.

Hollow stows her belongings and rises quietly. When the secret door reveals stairs down she is puzzled. She didn't expect this development. She sends telepathically to her companions, "Should we explore more on this level before we descend? It does not look like this doorway is used very often. It may be a secret passage and allow us to sneak up behind Glasstaff, or it could lead to hole in the ground."

She attempts to look down the passage also to see if there is anything Wish may have overlooked.

Kama shrugs. "I'd imagine this is as good as any start to exploration," he answers, quietly.

How far down do the stairs lead? Is it a steep staircase to a whole new level, or a short flight practically on the same?

Wish gestures to the others from the bottom of the stairs, beckoning for them to join him and sending flickering shadows dancing from his torch.

Hollow is unsure, but follows her companions with no further objections...but putting a 'told you so' in her pocket for later.

I sleep lightly. When I wake, I take careful note of my possessions. Once everything is in order I quietly follow the others. I check for tracks to gauge how many have come before us recently, as well as look for any sign of tracks thatvbelong to one human wizard.

Hollow doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary in the passage. It's only about 10 feet long with a stairway leads down to another floor.

Xora sees some tracks in here, but nothing that stands out as obviously wizardly.

Just let me know when you want to open the door

Kama takes position behind Wish. With one hand grasping his maul, he places his other hand on the genasi's shoulder and gives a nod. He looks back at Hollow and Xora to confirm they are also ready.

I hope this leads to a kitchen.
