You are able to reach the storage room with no encounters; it appears that the Redbrands have not noticed their leaders' absence at this point and are not alert. You find the secret door easily, who wants to open it?
Jan 21, 2016 4:32 pm
"Sounds good." Wish lights a torch as he says "Well, I don't hear anything. Let's retrace our steps to the storage room and hope that the redbrand was telling the truth about the rest of the place..."
Assuming no one else leads the way, Wish will proceed back down the tunnel to the chasm and across the bridge, making way to the storage room area with the secret doors, just as Kama suggested. He will open the door, after inspecting it for traps.

Wish detects no traps on the door and it swings open easily. He opens it to reveal a short hallway going to the right. The door in front of him he recognized as leading to the armory and the door at the end of the hallway leads to the crypts.
Jan 21, 2016 11:20 pm
Wish tries the door to the armory...not because they need any more weapons, but rather to make sure it's empty of foes who might otherwise attack us from the rear.
Jan 21, 2016 11:39 pm
Wish feels his professional itch to try his mettle against this lock...
...but then he recalls that they're here to rescue people, so he looks wistfully at the lock and turns away, heading down to the door to the crypts. Once there, he again inspects the door, listens for noise, and otherwise perceives what may come...

Wish can't hear a single thing, almost as if everything that might be inside is already dead.
Jan 21, 2016 11:50 pm
Wish grins, relieved. "I can't hear anything creepy at all! Must be OK!"
He opens the door and enters, still cautious.

"Well get a move on, then. No point dawdling." I urge him to continue forward. If he doesn't move I will walk past him and scout ahead.
Ooc: unless the door is locked. Then I'll wait behind Wish.

Kama will follow, maul at the ready. He says nothing as he mentally prepares himself for what is reportedly coming.
Jan 22, 2016 6:12 pm
As the party enters the room they can see three large stone sarcophagi standing within a dusty crypt, and propped up against each sarcophagus is a human skeleton clad in bits of rusty mail. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The double doors in the southeast corner are sheathed in tarnished copper plate.
Jan 22, 2016 6:41 pm
Kama steps around Wish and immediately goes for the skeleton in front of the genasi. He brings his maul around as he does so, using the momentum to guide the attack. In his heart, he hopes these are simple skeletal props, but his mind wants to be sure.
Also, I apologize for acting before initiative. Feel free to edit my action as needed.

Behind the group Hollow flinches at the sight of the skeletons, but doesn't make any noise (or hopes she doesn't make any). She raises her hand in preparation to cast should these prove to be the animate dead they were warned about.

Kama's maul smashes the skeleton to bits. As it falls the other two turn and begin advancing on you.
OOC:
I'm going to give the party the initiative and then the skeletons will go. Kama's turn is used up, so everyone else gets an actin before they attackJan 22, 2016 7:42 pm
"Well, the redbrand wasn't lying!"
Wish steps up to the skeleton at the foot of the sarcophagus on the opposite wall (between the two sets of doors) and attempts to cleave it in twain with his rapier, then use his cunning action to disengage with it back towards Kama.

Wish darts in gracefully and smacks the skeleton with his rapier. It causes some damage but the undead creature shows no reaction until Hollow's spell blasts its head clear from its shoulders and it falls in a heap on the ground.

Xora's arrow hits the skeleton in the head but is deflected by the hard bone. The skeleton's slams a rusty blade into Kama's stomach, but it is broken to pieces upon impact with the finely made armor. The party makes quick work of the remaining skeleton.
There are two exits from here: the northern door which leads to the prison area and the southern set of double doors which leads into the trapped hallway.
