Dagger grabs his blaster and sets it to stun as well. He moves quickly down to the door on the other end of the hallway, this one he tries to be sneaky about opening.

Dagger -- I'm going to assume you are heading down the hallway and opening the door on the opposite side of the wall than you came from (e.g. you aren't attempting to double back). Hard to explain with text adequately, but there you are. Let me know if you meant to circle back at all. That said, for your five advantage, let me figure out how to provide some assistance...
Dagger gets to the door at the end of the corridor, attempting to walk quietly and opens it. There's not much to see it's a storage room about the size of half a modest family speeder. A large crate is against one wall -- it looks sealed. Otherwise it's empty and it offers no other exit.

A-ha, some extra advantage...
That said, Dagger does see a reasonably sized air duct with its cover swung open. Perhaps some cleaning droid or what have you is dutifully making sure the air quality of the museum isn't going down hill. Dagger can easily squirm in and have some room to maneuver.

"Hey! I think I heard someone over there!" someone shouts.

Heyop, Csillag and Mal -- weapons on stun, get to Dagger's.. um.. expertly cut hole and peer inside carefully. They catch the tail end of a group of security guards heading down a corridor to the left. Presumably after some intruder. It doesn't take a Cerean to know whom they're after.

"They're on full alert so lets ambush them when they're going down the hallway when there's no cover." Heyop advises, "Someone message Dagger and figure out what he's doing, it's obvious there wasn't really a plan going in. Also tell him no more Light Saber cut holes, it's very blatant evidence of who we are if inspected." he adds moving through with his gun low to the ground once the security detail seems to be out of listening distance.

Dagger looks up at the open vent and starts to work his way over to it, then notices the sealed crate. He looks between the two for only a moment then moves to squirm his way between the wall and the crate, hoping that seeing the open vent will make the guards think he has gone into the vent to escape. It seems the obvious solution.

Going to try and hide in this room behind this crate. Also because I want to know what is in it.

The patrolling guards clearly move into the corridor that Dagger has recently exited. "Check the rooms -- make sure he's not hiding in them." someone says, "You stay here." Dagger is able to hear a couple doors open. There's some moving about and one of the doors is promptly announced, "Clear!"

The other one apparently takes some time to check out. As Mal, Heyop and Csillag settle into the main bay, a door on the side opens, revealing a rather surprised security guard. "Hey!"

Ok. Each group of NPCs are 2 guards.
- Group 1 is in the room between the corridor and the loading bay -- these have discovered Mal, Csillag and Heyop.
- Group 2 is in the room across the corridor from Group 1; this room is adjacent to Dagger's.
- Group 3 is at the top of the corridor where Dagger entered.

Initiative will be:

Group 1
Players
Group 3
Group 2

As groups merge, they will merge into the higher initiative group (these are minions, so merging is relevant).

Range to group 1 for our three heroes in the bay is Short (1P).
The guards who have spotted Mal, Csillag and Heyop are on point and ready to react. "There's three of 'em here!" one of the two guards shots before they fire with their carbines, set to stun, at the group. They target Csillag with their first shots and she is unable to steer clear of them. That said, they leave themselves in an awkward position after rushing to open fire.
OOC:
Csillag takes 7 strain after soak - current strain now 5; group 1 has a setback die on their next action.

Mal is quick to react and takes a shot at one of the two guards in the room. His blaster carbine throws a burst of shots into the room. A couple land on one of the guards and overwhelm him. He falls to the ground, unconscious. Mal's success heartens Csillag who receives a boost die from his action.
OOC:
...and does nothing. Sorry!
Csillag also turns and fires. Her holdout blaster does its best to drop the second of the two guards assaulting the group, but although she lands a couple hits, he manages to stay standing -- though he looks concerned.

Dagger hunches down in his room ready to pounce.
OOC:
Still time for Heyop to go -- I wanted to resolve those actions in case both of the guards were dropped. Alas, that's not quite what happened.
