OOC:
You can trivially set the thermal detonator to explode up to 3 minutes after activation. No roll is required.
May 19, 2016 1:45 pm
Dagger we're going to be on the move soon when you hear the explosion if you can see what they're doing without being seen let us know what they're doing and from where they're moving away from you. Heyop messages quickly before clipping his commlink back to his belt on vibrate and preps to take off, "I'm ready to take off when yall are." he lets Csillag and the others know.
May 19, 2016 1:49 pm
Feeling the comm buzz I set down my blaster for a moment to pick up the comm. My smile widens a bit. Explosion? I'm liking this plan more and more. Be safe. Miss you guys. Okay, putting the comm away for now. Seriously, be safe. Tell Csillag not to blow herself up.. I look the message over, satisfied I got to the point succinctly I hit send and put the comm away, picking up my blaster again.

"Here we go..." Csillag warns as she starts the timer.
May 20, 2016 12:45 am
Csillag finally sets the thermal detonator to go off -- getting rid of something she's carried with her for quite some time. It's a banner moment -- but y'all are distracted by the task at hand. With the timer set, you get moving quickly down to Dagger as quickly as possible. Roughly 20 seconds after you head down towards dagger, the thermal detonator explodes in a shower of red rock and dirt.

Dagger waits and wait...boom. He turns and sees the explosion not far away. His friends are probably not more than a minute or so from him. He hears some barked orders and sneaking a peak around his rock, he sees the one-armed stormtrooper sending off the probe droid to investigate. It raises into the air and begins to quickly hover over the terrain and obstacles towards the explosion.

OOC:
What is the siloette of a probe droid? 1 or 0?

OOC:
Do any of the other troopers move?

OOC:
Taking a roundabout way to answer Dagger's question...
The Kirtan Strider sits in a natural bowl where, in times long since past, water or wind has eroded away some of the less durable soil and rock, leaving behind a smattering of columns of hardened stone. It's a little like a broad, flat room that is held up by pillars of rock -- but without the roof. Most of the pillars reach three to four meters up -- and are flat at the top. Some of them have toppled and others have either been worn down to a meter or two. The Kirtan Strider sits in the middle of the open area, its passenger ramp down and awaiting you. There is one prominent (and broad) exit/entrance into the bowl -- and Dagger is behind cover not far from that entrance (and still slightly outside the bowl).

The seven remaining stormtroopers are alert, but continue to stay put. Three of them walk in easy circles near the ramp of your ship. The other four move about the columns towards the entrance, keeping an eye on it carefully and ensuring that they keep between the ship and the entrance to the bowl. The cybernetic stormtrooper is part of this group towards the entrance.

OOC:
From where we are (described as "the high ground") would it be possible to leap from pillar to pillar? How far apart are they? Thinking of Athletic checks combined with Force Leaps to get near the ship without causing a ruckus, or perhaps to flank the troopers if needed.
May 20, 2016 2:58 pm
After peeking around the rock and seeing that the troopers seem instead to have doubled down on their defensible position I duck back behind my rock and grab my communicator.

The troopers and Mr. Droid Arm aren't moving. They sent the probe out to the explosion. We have a plan B?, I hit send and grab my weapons again. The urge to do something dumb and reckless is setting in again.

OOC:
Yes -- Urik can leap from pillar to pillar. The others maybe too -- but some of those jumps will require a Force Leap which I think only Urik can do.
May 20, 2016 3:26 pm
OOC:
In my understanding, we are in the hills to the relative North of your sketch, just West of the "entrance". Is that correct?
May 20, 2016 3:36 pm
OOC:
Works for me! I will assume the detonator was off to the NW slightly and that unless you state otherwise, you'll all be joining Dagger to back him up (rather than come from above).
May 20, 2016 3:39 pm
After a few moments the itch takes over and Dagger tries to move between rocks around the bowl to get to the far end where the troopers are not. Once there I will slide down into the bowl and make my way behind one of the stone pillars.
OOC:
I want to spend my advantage to give myself a boost on my next attack because I was so dang stealthy.

Second Roll Edit: I believe that shakes out to 1 success and 1 advantage.

After the explosion, Urik gets himself in position to leap over to the nearest pillar. "I'm going to move from pillar to pillar, then either start the ship or get the drop on those troopers over by the ship."
May 23, 2016 11:01 pm
"Pillar to pillar?!" Csillag exclaims. "Just be careful - anything you break I'll have to fix!"

Csillag is worried that if she doesn't do something to get down to the ship she may be stuck. She looks for any type of path that would give her maximum cover down to the ship.
OOC:
Going with perception check vs three purple. Adjust as needed.

Rolls

Perception [Finding a Path]

5 Success, 1 Advantage, 1 Threat

Total: 5 Success

Heyop, Csillag and Kaveri find an easy path down to the ground level and hook up with where they thought Dagger was, only to catch site of him slipping behind a pillar across the bowl. How he managed to get over there without being seen and shot is something of a cause for alarm and amazement. But then... this is Dagger.

Dagger, not aware that his friends have just arrived at his prior hiding spot, winds his way through some rocks surrounding the bowl and hops down into the bowl and darts behind a pillar without anyone being the wiser.
OOC:
Dagger, I'm assuming you're basically at the pillar at 8:45 if the Kirtan Strider was the center of a clock.
Urik gets in position and is ready to perform his acrobatics.

Last but not least, Mal is locked into a fairly empty closet on the Kirtan Strider with two cavetroopers standing guard. He can hear them speak in a muffled fashion to one another. It would appear some explosion has happened nearby and it has them on alert.
May 24, 2016 9:02 pm
Mal tries to move around and look around to get a bearing on his surroundings and any tools he could make use of in this closet.
OOC:
I'm assuming I'm weaponless and it's too dark to see in here?
May 24, 2016 9:06 pm
It is really quite dark in the closet and Mal isn't able to truly see anything. In fact, moving around in the closet is something of a hassle as the quarters are quite tight -- closets on ships weren't meant to hold people. A bit of shelving is askew as a result of Mal being jammed in and having the door shut on him after they took his blaster off of him.

Outside of the shelving, mostly it seems like foodstuffs or other supplies related to staying alive rather than a much more useful storage bin for, you know, guns or something.
