That's a perfect spot.
Dagger peeks out from his vantage point to gauge the enemy location. He thinks the bulk of the forces are outside the ship, so maybe he could get in and make use of ship guns to pepper the troopers, he worries otherwise his friends may walk into a slaughterfest.

7 troopers total. 4, with the one-armed dude are closer to the main entrance, where Csillag, Heyop and Kaveri are. 3 are close to the entrance ramp of the ship.

4 troopers guard entrance of bowl. Mech arm included. I'm going to get on the ship, I send through the comm and then do my best to stealth my way towards the entrance ramp to the ship. I will try to close as much distance before I either fire my blaster, or power on my lightsaber, whichever range I can manage to get to.

Mal -- roll um..a hard mechanics roll with a setback die. we'll see how useful the thing you craft is...

Dagger - RRP for difficulty -- give yourself a boost though, because they're facing the wrong way.

With a deep breath I spin out from behind the pillar and try to weave between the pillars as I approach the ship, hoping to get close enough to melee range to take out at least one trooper with the lightsaber.

Once I've closed the gap to melee range I fire up my lightsaber as I slice at one of the troopers guarding the ramp.

Can't remember if melee is one or two P difficulty. Rolling two. Adding a boost for stealth?

"Seems the bulk of them are close to us from what Dagger stated, whenever Dagger's starting to do whatever he's doing since he's not here we should probably move on the squad when they start moving towards whatever chaos is going on. Urik will probably have the best battle field overview. Kaveri let us know if you see a probe droid flying in. Csillag you're on me with Kaveri on long range behind us we're moving to the ship ramp in the skirmish to come hopefully without getting injured but I'm pretty sure they're not going to be using stun settings if they feel threatened so everyone look alive. Once we're in the ship some will defend while the rest clear the ship and get it prepped for departure."

Just realized the Shoto has Accuracy 1. Every rank of Accuracy adds a boost dice to a roll, so adding one boost dice roll here for my previous attack roll.

It also has Breach 1. And Sunder, but I need advantages to activate Sunder.

The one-armed trooper puts a hand to his ear and says, "The probe droid has found the site of the explosion -- it looks like a delayed charge from a thermal detonator. Tracks have been spotted, so be on the look out... we're bound to see riff-raff soo..."

At this point Dagger ignites his shoto blade, it flashes blue and bright in the shaded cover of the Kirtan Strider as he leaps among the stormtroopers by the ramp. His saber flashes quickly back and forth - slashing at the weapon arm of a trooper before reversing and slamming hilt-deep into the chest armor of the hapless victim. The stormtrooper falls to the ground with a gasp and a thud. As the other two troopers turn to deal with the viper in their midst, Dagger's lightsaber flashes quickly again dropping a second trooper to the ground. The remaining trooper manages to dance backwards under the agile onslaught of the Twi'lek, taking a light score on the leg rather than a would-be fatal dismembering.

One-arm turns around at the noise of Dagger's attack and says, "Look out for others, I'll take care of this one!"

...and we enter battle-time. Let's roll initiative. Cool for you guys (though Mal should roll Vigilance since he will be surprised by the assault). Vigilance for the troopers. I'll take an argument for Vigilance from non-Dagger players, since Dagger is always surprising, :)

Range to the Strider is 'medium' from the edges. Range to the entrance from where Heyop and Csillag and Kaveri are is also medium. Range from where Urik is to the entrance/troopers is 'short' but he's up high. Dagger is engaged with 2 living stormtroopers.

Dagger spins the saber around, surprised at how light and mobile it is. This beats the heck out of his old vibroknife.

Just a note, I have the shoto in one hand, and a blaster in the other. As of now I'm not using them at the same time, I'm mostly just ready to switch between the two depending on the target.

Urik is going to try and jump down on to the head of the robot arm guy Death From Above style. I'm assuming a Coordination check on that, what's the difficulty? Looks like others will go before Urik, so this may change, but that's the current plan.

Ok. Initiative is going to be 'bad guys' then 'good guys' to minimize confusion. A couple of you rolled well, but those triumphs are crazy. I'll be counting the timer -- and starting us at 'round 2' to accomodate that the explosion raised their awareness.

All: updated my post above - I didn't do minion damage correctly, I don't think.

Urik: It'll be 2 purple to attack (consider it a melee attack). That said, he has adversary 2 so upgrade all combat checks by 2 (that means 2 red dice).

Sorry falryx, a couple questions:

Are we currently at the top of round 2? So its all NPCs next?

Dropping on this guy from short range: Are we going to do falling damage? That is why I was looking for Coordination check. Also, if I am making an attack, may I take a Blue die for unexpected flying squirrel tactics?

Correct - top of round 2, bad guys move first. This may change your range to one-arm. Ah -- to add fall damage, I think it's a Coordination vs. Athletics/Coordination test (he'd choose Athletics). That'll be RRRP - yes you can get a boost for being a Monkey and another Boost for gravity. Note he is 'adversary 1' so only 1 upgrade.
