"Then there's Xyquine. 'Safest place in the Sector' it says. That's tempting. It's the wrong way to home, but at 21 hours, we can be there in less than a day."

not my ship, not my call. sounds good, though

"Dagger, what do you think?"
Jun 10, 2016 10:12 am
i have to agree with Nemoidia. As nice as "Safest place in the sector" sounds, it also sounds like the least safe place for us. At least I've never heard such a lazily concealed trap before in my life, Dagger chimes in.

As much as I appreciate Heyop's love of bucketheads we can't risk our own lives, and supplies, for them

OOC:
I was actually going with confusion/befuddlement to attempt Negotiation versus them keeping their military bearing. It sounds like Urik just whats to smack them around though so I'd like to try Negotiation with Influence before he starts Coercion since after the fact it'd be moot to try to Negotiate I figure.

Ok. Gimme a Force die.

What would a flip do?

Turns a light side point into a dark side point for me to use against you later when I'm feeling salty.

OOC:
You can flip a light side point to use the Dark Side to accomplish your task. You take strain and a point of conflict if you do so. Plus falryx gets to screw us over later.

He'll do that last part either way. ;)

I'll flip, we never did finish up morality from the previous arc with the wolves did we?
Jun 10, 2016 3:48 pm
OOC:
Hrm. I thought we rolled conflict. We should probably roll conflict each month too.. I'll read into that s'more.

OOC:
We did have Mal but we didn't know where it was the second arc. XD.

Ok -- you can use a boost on your negotiation. 1P die as difficulty, plus a setback die due to his conditioning.

Heyop stares at the soldier both their jaws clenched reminiscent to his time in service.

"Okay. Cato Nemoidia it is..." Kaveri notes as she starts punching things into the Navicomp. Several minutes later the navicomp indicates that the Kirtan Strider is ready to jump to light speed and Mal punches the necessary button. After a brief moment, the stars lengthen and then... stop.

The console buzzes unhappily, flashing red in the hyperdrive readouts. Mal can see that the primary hyperdrive doesn't wish to operate, although the backup drive was and is seems to be working ok.
OOC:
Note - your backup drive, which gets used for Microjumps -- is Class 15. It'll take 5x longer to get somewhere with it than with your Class 3 primary drive.
Elsewhere on the ship, everyone feels the transition to hyperspace begin and then end abruptly. In the cargo hold, some piping of some sort or another vents steam loudly above Heyop's head. Sparks also light up the sidepanels near the entrance -- the ones with a lightsaber score casually drawn across them.

Rolls

Astrogation check for Kaveri

2 Success, 1 Advantage, 1 Failure, 3 Threat

Total: 1 Success, 2 Threat

"The man that was alive in the closet, What was his name? Why was he confined in the storage area? Is he a citizen of the Empire? Was he working for Imperial Forces or a threat to the Empire?" Heyop asks.
OOC:
Don't know if that's too many questions but I figure you can pick and choose what you'd like to answer. Instead of one liner posts back and forth.
