Heyop looks at Dagger and his eyes soften a bit and he looks a bit sad, "I watched you almost die at the tip of a lightsaber, Urik kicked off a cliff, and Csillag taken hostage. Then I stood before I guess an evaluation review board and questioned on my short comings and inconsistencies... I have much to reflect on supposedly... these trials were not just pass or fail... there is the real possibility we die during them supposedly." he comments quietly before looking at each of the others quietly with an apologetic face, "Besides we all know Csillag is too nice to join the Dark Side..." he reminds Dagger in his rouse.

Heyop closes his eyes, it's been a while and he realized he's a bit tired from all the running and diving around in caves.

Dagger begins to look very sullen until Heyop's last line. Then he smirks a bit.

So we are only one short now. Where is that other Twi'lek gone. I can't pilot a ship, at least not very well.... Although I guess we would need to find the ship first, Dagger says as he looks back out over the green glade below.

Urik places a friendly hand on Heyop's shoulder. "I'm glad you made it through. I saw Malefax in my vision. He stabbed me with his light saber...but nothing happened."
Apr 29, 2016 7:34 pm
Dagger turns to Heyop and Urik and lifts a slightly bruised leku. I was force-thrown by the dark one who haunts my visions. I ended up slightly bruised for it. Count yourself lucky you didn't die.

"There is a possibility that is why Kaveri hasn't shown up..." Heyop states morbidly in a quieter voice. She was the only one he hadn't seen in his visions and trails... did that mean something?
Apr 29, 2016 7:44 pm
Well, only a moment ago we thought you dead, and here you are. Maybe we just need to give her more time?, Dagger says, trying to convince himself as well as the others.
Apr 29, 2016 7:48 pm
"Trust in the Force?" Heyop states with a slight smirk at he sits closing his eyes thinking back to the evaluation board.
Apr 29, 2016 7:50 pm
Dagger considers the words for a bit then let's out a long sigh. Urik, let's go spar some more while we wait. She will be along anytime now, Dagger says, growing quickly bored with waiting.

You hear some footsteps out on the stairs below -- Kaveri is jogging up them, a lightsaber hilt swings at her side. When questioned she indicates that she's been here for some time -- likely finishing her lightsaber before Dagger, and decided to poke around. Although she's not particularly chatty about her experience, she does note that it was a trial and she has a lot of reflection to do.

The conversation eventually turns to "what next" and Kaveri indicates a cave -- with a tunnel beyond -- that she's explored somewhat. "I think that is our only way out of this vale -- and I have climbed around quite a bit."
Apr 29, 2016 8:03 pm
Ah, there, see. She is alive and well. And apparently better at trials than us., Dagger says to the group.

He listens about the cave and readies himself to head out.

This is a nice place, but I'm a little homesick for the temple.

"Truer words my friend.". Heyop adds storing his gear for departure.

OK! I gave the other two a chanc to speak up!
The five of you leave the forge for the last time and wander down the steps. About a quarter of a mile away, there's an opening in the mountains that rings the vale and you step in. Walking along the path is pleasant, and the air is warm -- without being stifling and smells of life. As you walk, however, you notice that the dirt of the cave and the surrounding rock moves from brown and fertile-seeming to redder and redder shades. Their air dries noticeably and warms up -- not to discomfort but noticeably all the same.

Eventually, you walk into a chamber and Kaveri comments, "Wait... wasn't this the chamber with the fog in it? I recognize that rock formation on the wall there."

Heyop looks around and nods "Maybe the gas in the basin desensitized us so it'd be harder to notice where we were going. I can see why there were drones down here surveying. I wonder if we could collapse the way here after we get back a ways..."

Heyop moves around the Glowrod more as he travels looking for a weak structural area that would look like a good point for a cave in.
May 3, 2016 1:54 pm
Urik lays a hand on Heyop's shoulder. "I don't think that decision is ours to make. This place...I get the feeling this place can take care of itself. We have work to do. Lets get..." Urik pauses way longer than he should, his head cocked quizically to one side. He seems to shake himself a bit, then smiles thinly, "Yes. Home. Lets get home."

OOC:
Heyop -- if you'd like to continue to look for a structural place -- roll a 3P skill against something you think qualifies. Might be a 'knowledge' skill -- but I'd take 'demolitions' or some such if such a skill either exists or is had by you. my CRB is inaccessible atm.

OOC:
Yeah I have no idea how to actually do it besides hit the ceiling several times at random.

OOC:
Call it an Intellect roll then. :)

OOC:
I'm good... Don't make Heyop try and think.

Consensus appearing to be "getting out of here" the party settles into its prior marching order, attempting to remember the pathway out.

After a few mis-steps and wrong turns that end in dead ends, you are able to find yourselves in that room-with-the-gas. Given the maze of passageways you're fairly certain there's got to be some other way out that doesn't push through this room -- but on the other hand you know that there's a way out if you walk forward.
