Acknowledged on the strain recovery. You shooting the Twi'lek or the Noghri?

Sorry, the Twi'lek.

OOC:
Thanks!
You fire off a couple shots at the Twi'lek sitting in the speeder -- she's closest to Mal, so seems like the best target. You surprise her (and quite possibly yourself) by landing a couple hits, but they aren't enough to cause her to lose consciousness.
OOC:
Mal, you're up.

OOC:
I think your strain theshold prevents this, unfortunately. To re-engage with him is a maneuver, to aim to disarm (which is what you'd have to do) is another maneuver, and then the attack is an action. so you'd need to do two maneuvers, but you need 2 strain to do that and only have the 1.

Mal hops down and crouching, using the edge of the speeder as cover, uses a stimpack on himself, hoping he gets feeling back into his hands soon

OOC:
Ok. +5 strain from the stimpack.

The female twi'lek flops out of the speeder and yells something to her colleagues about blowing a door open. Seeing Dagger before her she fires a stun blast into him with her pistol.
OOC:
Dagger - you take 5 strain. I don't think you've been subjected to combat since returning to Spintir, so I believe this takes your strain from 13 to 8.

Heyop and Dagger - your turns.

"Opening a path now, you're pretty fast Dagger so I'm going to be closing them on a short delay after they open." Heyop offers up over comms.
OOC:
Unsure if I need another roll to open and close doors... Is Heyop the oldest guy on the team?

The only doors you'd need to open are reading as open already.
Oct 28, 2016 5:17 pm
OOC:
Could I close them until he's at the door, open and then close them again? Otherwise I'm just going to hoof it.

OOC:
While you could do, cameras show a Togruta and Duros in the room already, so uncertain what benefit this would create for Dagger, unless they drew weapons.
Oct 28, 2016 5:31 pm
Dagger darts forward into the opened doors that are being sliced (it sounds like they are already open, right?) and once he is through tries to fire his blaster at the panel on the other side.
OOC:
Hoping for the brute-force door lock option that is classic Star Wars.
Oct 28, 2016 5:32 pm
OOC:
Ok. Um -- any opinions on how you'd like to get back out once the door is fried?
Oct 28, 2016 5:34 pm
OOC:
Nope. Flying by the seat of my pants here. Force be with you and all that jazz.

I do have a handy door cutter with me just in case.

Ok!

Doors are already open. The Togruta and Duros are gathered around a computer station on the other side of the doors. Once you step in do you want to close them and then shoot the panel? I feel that that's permissible in RAW but will require 2 strain due to the extra maneuver. The shot would be a trivial one at range (no difficulty dice, but worth rolling to see if you get advantage to recover strain). Mechanically you'd be moving through the door (maneuver), closing the door (maneuver), shooting the controls (action).

OOC:
To be sure I'll suffer the two strain. I'll roll the attack to see if I can recover some.

Rolls

Shooty Door

2 Success, 1 Advantage

Total: 2 Success, 1 Advantage

Roger - just need Heyop's move.
Oct 28, 2016 6:23 pm
With a nod seeing Dagger through and going in the right direction he opts to bring up the rear hopefully being able to catch up to Csillag.

(OoC: I guess I'm just moving this round than.)

You can get to the top of the stairs with a single maneuver. If you'd like to be with Mal behind the speeder, it'll be two. If you'd like to take a pot-shot at the Noghri or the Twi'lek from medium range you can do that too (with a setback due to their cover).
