Be nice if the didn't have bow and at the ready. We really don't need to take arrow with possibly so much more to travel. Any suggestions?

Lets give this a minute or two. If they were pointing arrows then it should be long before this matter got resolved. Then we will bust in fast and see where that gets us. Hopefully surprise.

As you approach the wall and peer down. What you see is a bloodbath. Below is what looks like a fighting pit. Limbs are strewn everywhere, partially chopped heads and and torsos litter the grounds. Any alone, is a single elven woman, covered in blood, smiling. No apparent weapons and no apparent harm.

Corelief calls down into the pit to the elven female with no weapons, I don't rightly have any rope and haven't seen any either. Appears he is willing to spare a few moments.

Baenroth edges into the room, and when he feels a little safer walks over to the pit, surprised to see another elf. Upon seeing a fellow elf, his courage is renewed. "Milady, my sincerest apologies for not coming to your aid earlier. Judging by the soldiers, we assumed they had cornered some great beast. Of course we will stay and fight by your side. Are you inured?"

Injured? Ha. These mortals can’t touch me. If you’d rather leave, we have four horses waiting for you. She wipes the blood off of her face. And if you want to come down, stairs are just south of here.

Corelief laughs and says I offered nothing. But I do believe passively that the elf is our mysterious benefactor. But that will be later.
