Cart was still in the studio when the troopers arrived. He quickly tried to finish up his search for the storage media used to record the activities of the room earlier, which was filmed by all the installed cameras.

Cart finds a data card labeled bouncy bubble fizzy Pop spot but cannot find any other data storage.

The troopers ignore Will, and hustle the kids back out the studio door down the hall and open a panel at the other end of the hallway. The troubleshooters follow behind as the troopers march through a winding complex of sewer tunnels. They arrive at an elevator door. The doors creak open with a ding and the troopers hustle all of the children into the lift.

Cart pocketed the card and exited with the other troubleshooters, storing away all his finds safely in his backpack.

I have a strange feeling about elevators as if I have met them in a previous clone... So I hesitate going in for a moment, a cold chill running down my spine

Brett will also have a faint memory of taking a lift with a robot. But it's too faint, so he just imagined Botaroo was with him and the uneasiness faded away.

The troubleshooters squeeze into the grimy elevator along with the troopers and the children there is a sudden terrible acceleration probably about 5 Gs. Then the elevator stops abruptly. wack! go the heads on the ceiling. the tykes wail. A weapon goes off.

As the laser shot bounces around, Brett sees his life flashes before his eyes as the very familiar scene triggers a memory of his past life.
"AAAHHHH!!!" Brett screams as he cowers in terror.

"Neverhater elevator!" Cart alliteration seemed to have gotten worse with the blow to his head as the elevator malfunctioned. He looked for the exit hatch that elevators have in the ceiling. "I will fix the problem!" And began to try to climb up and out through it.

Brett screams so loud that eveeyone ducks. The weapon blast hits the ceiling. The shot directs Cart's eyes to the ceiling panel that elevators always have.

Again, Will-O-WSP begins firing wildly and blindly taking out one of the tykes before the battery light begins blinking on his laser barrel and his sidearm loses it charge.

An overgrown junior citizen gets behind you and lifts you up by putting you on his shoulders. You can easily reach the panel and open it.

Brett opens his eyes, and gives a sigh of relief as its over. He gets up and watch with curiosity at whatever Cart is doing.

You can see the doors in front of you, the elevator is between floors.

"We can get out of here if we can open these elevator doors." Cart gave the doors a strong tug, to see if he could open them by himself. If not, he'd need the help of the others.
