I am VERY Strong!

He tosses Brett up and through the open ceiling portal. From here Brett can see that the elevator is stuck between floors. He can also see CART holding one of the doors open (and causing the other door to open as well. It looks like if he were to crouch he could probably fit through the open doors.

Inside the crowded elevator, the doors remain shut. the Troopers remain stoic and emotionless, but the children are becoming squirmy.

Are we there yet?

seeing the kids getting more and more agitated I stand up "Why don't we play a game while the other are checking out for a way out? You can all think of one number to tell the nice security officer next to the buttons. He will then press it to turn the light one. If you guess the secret combination you get these!", I search my pockets for something and pick up some candy

Cart holds the doors as Brett attempts to squeeze through. Meanwhile, Will and the kids start pushing random buttons inside the elevator springing it back to life.

Brett and Cart, the elevator begins to move. Please describe how you attempt to avoid damage and make an appropriate roll.

"Energetic elevator!" Cart yelped as the elevator began to move again. "Press stop!" He yelled at those below as he let go of the doors he was holding open and stepped back onto the roof of the elevator car.

"The Red Button!" shouts Will, but unfortunately he cannot be heard over Brett who screams so loudly that everybody ducks. Cart dives away from the doors as the elevator lurches back to life, but tumbles through the ceiling panel and back into the elevator smashing a couple of junior citizens inside. Brett dives through the portal just as the doors close.

A moment later the elevator dings and the doors open revealing Brett laying on the ground before it.

"Oh! Hi Brett! How did you get on that side of the door? I'm surprised to see him laying there on the floor. Then it hits me "Magic of course!" and make a theatrical gesture introducing the feat to all the kids as if it was a show.

"Oh? Ha! Yes, it's magic! My mystifying magic!" Brett says as he waves his arms about while trying to catch his breath. He then gets up and takes a look at the level he is on.

"Hurtful harmlessness!" Cart rubbed the bump on his head. All that effort for nothing, since the lift wasn't malfunctioning, but did get them to the correct floor. He picked himself up and exited.

The Security Guys ignore your question and begin corralling the junior citizens down the hallway.

A variety of colored hallways shoot off from this main hallway. The Intsec Troopers surround the junior citizens and turn down the blue hallway.

"Welp, time to follow our escorts!" Brett tries to jog after the troopers towards the blue hallway. As he was about to step through, he paused, then looks at the other corridors' colours and any other writings in the place.

I follow the IntSec Troopers until they turn on to the blue hallways, stopping just at the border where the color changes. "Wait! Do we have permission to enter this region?". We no loyalty officer to turn to, I quickly grab the my Com and ask Friend Computer what to do. This feels like one of those tricky exam questions clone die from: Your orders are to follow the security into a forbidden zone, what do you do?
