OOC:
Do you guys think a protection from evil or a haste would be better? Maybe a haste on the rogue to increase the odds of sneak attack damage? I dont know, CAN you get advantage on a demon lord? Lol!

OOC:
If you're choosing between those two spells, a part of me thinks you might be better off casting Protection from Evil & Good, since you have to touch your target if you intend to cast it on Ælfric. Additionally, once Haste ends (after 1 minute or if you lose concentration) whoever you hasted will be stuck there for at least one turn.
Sensing that the confrontation was near, Elayna places a hand upon Sarith and Mai'ngor. "We can do this!" she whispers with emphasis.
OOC:
Elayna casts Heroism at 2nd level.
[ +- ] Heroism

OOC:
alternately I could use my concentration spell on Arcane Hand to create another melee combatant...
Mar 23, 2020 4:48 pm
OOC:
I'll happily take the Protection. :)

OOC:
lol, I'm sure you would, but is it the best use of concentration is my quandary. 5e really neutered support wizards with concentration.
Only sorcerers can hold 2 at once.

OOC:
The fighters already have 2 attacks per round so I'm thinking starting with Arcane Hand is our best bet... AC 20 melee combatant that does 4d8 force damage...

OOC:
Very well. :( At least using/attacking with the Hand is a bonus action.
How high is the ceiling, Naat? And how wide are the labyrinth passages?
Mar 24, 2020 2:41 am
OOC:
I would want to cast haste on you more than PFE/G anyway... since you probably wont be the focus of the brunt of the attacks
Mar 24, 2020 4:34 am
OOC:
The ceilings are about 25-30 ft high at the lowest and about 20-25 ft wide at most places. This place is HUGE. Once you're prepped, let me know and we can start

OOC:
Elayna is ready, concentrating on Heroism.

Mai'ngor, Sarith, and Elayna didn't have a chance to take a short rest after the initial minotaur fight, correct?

OOC:
Yeah I'm a few resources down from the first skirmish (Action Surge, 1 Luck Point, 1 War Dance slot) but otherwise ready to go.
Mar 24, 2020 6:27 am
OOC:
Yeah I'm down a few spell slots too but I'm guessing this isn't a great place to hang out for an hour lol
Mar 24, 2020 6:31 am
OOC:
Indeed. Mai'ngor wouldn't stop to rest. He's annoyed enough at all the talking. Mai'ngor, that is... not me. :-D
Mar 24, 2020 12:49 pm
OOC:
Ælfric is ready to go. He'll probably stick (hehe) to the ceiling and walls as best he can while staying within 30 ft of everyone for the Stealth boost.

You turn the next few corners and feel a sense of nearly overwhelming dread. Just before you turn the last one, you know that it's too late to turn back. After the final turn, you see Baphomet waiting for you.

The huge black-furred Minotaur stands in the center of the tunnel, his massive axe held in front of him and a slight smile on his face, "Ah, you've finally made it, little ones," his voice booms, "What brings you to my new home?"
Mar 30, 2020 3:51 pm
Elayna shudders backward against the voice. She averts her gaze and tries as much as possible to look for any feathers on the ground.

Rolls

Perception - (1d20+8)

(16) + 8 = 24

Mar 30, 2020 8:46 pm
Ælfric remained silent. Hiding was one of his trademarks but would it matter against such a creature? If the others chose to talk, perhaps it would buy him time to find a relatively defensible position on the ceiling or wall.

Without meeting the behemoth's searing gaze, Seftan raises his voice,

Our business is our own! Leave our presence immediately!
Mar 31, 2020 4:40 pm
Panadrakavi rise. Panadrakavi pound. Like the shattering of the mountain, our voices sound. Deathwake says on repeat in her head, feeling her heart start to pound and her breath gets faster in her chest. A faint tinge of red glow starts to creep into her vision as the familiar bloodlust rises inside of her, just begging to be unleashed on this vile behemoth.
