Elden examines the symbol of the cleric. It is a golden coin with the image of a beautiful woman's face all in gold with her profile facing left.

The cleric is now bound and the orphans continue to stare at each other making suggestions but no one acting on them...

Weylan uses 5' of rope.

"Okay, he's tied and gagged. Who's coming with me and this guy to get Milly?" Weylan pipes up as he coils the remainder of his rope, gesturing to the elf.

Elden straightens up, "Let's get moving. I don't Milly down here any longer than absolutely necessary."
Jan 18, 2016 3:29 am
"I'll come along. No need to babysit this one." Szent says, motioning to the tied up cleric."Milly must remain our top priority."

"Alright fine let's all go, but this time try not to hurt anyone unless you have to! You think you can do that for once?!" I wave my arms around in frustration. As an afterthought, I check the cleric to see if there's anything on him that can corroborate what the elf is saying. Do they work together at the same guild maybe? I have no idea what to do. This is all very confusing, but if Milly's ok then we should be safe down here... right?

I turn back to the elf. "You had better not be lying to us or you're going to be so sorry."

"Mr. Scratchy will stay ahead to check our way." Feylinde says to Weylan pointing her cat. "Let our new friend lead the way and let's move on."

Seneia still looks troubled, glancing from the elf to the tied up cleric. Mentioning Milly makes her force her gaze away from those two. She nods quietly, ready to follow the others.

"Okay..." Weylan says to the elf. "Which way do we go?"

"This way", the elf says, leading the group towards the passage where the group had previously discovered a locked gate.

A few minutes later you arrive at the gate.

(Ooc: I don't think the elf is bound, correct?)
Jan 21, 2016 12:28 am
"So? You have a key?" Weylan inquires, watching the elf closely.

(OoC: Yes, we never bound him in anything but fear.)

The elf smiles and says, "Well, actually I don't have a key. Do you?"

(Ooc: roll insight)

Elden doesn't quite trust the elf.

Weylan blinks until the red goes away from his vision...He looks at Alanya and sighs. "So...? How did the gate open? Is there a password, a secret lever, or do I have to..." He grits his teeth, takes a breath, and resumes "...drag an unhelpful elf back to retrieve the key from one of his friends?"

"No key eh, elf? Maybe I'll use you as a battering ram to open that gate."

OOC: I remembered that we have a key even before it was mentioned in the Game Strategy thread, but would Rufio? Do I roll Intelligence or something?

Rufio has no recollection of the key, but his inspired insight does notice an inflection in the elf's voice to suggest that maybe he doesn't have a key but does have a means of access. Beyond that Rufio is clueless.

"Surely you know how to get pass through this door, elf." says Feylinde "Maybe even without a key, which you and your DEAD fellows seems to lack." she adds with a grim tone on spelling DEAD word.

OOC: I really don't remember about any key ... so Feylinde just forgot about it, if she even Knew it. ^_^

Seneia regards the elf suspiciously. Then she shrugs and produces a key from the front of her shirt.

"Weylan found this from the one that attacked us", she says. "I'm guessing it'll fit."

Seneia tosses the key to whoever is closest to the gate, excluding the elf.

Seeing Seneca toss the key in the general direction of the door Szent tightens his grip on his hammer. If the elf ends up with the key and tries to make some sort of break for it Szent will be ready.
