Howdy everyone,

I suppose like most of the membership I'm looking to game inbetween IRL sessions. I started with D&D 3.5 when I first started college. I am currently enjoying 5e a lot. I've DM'd for it and there's a lot I want to do within the Forgotten Realms setting.

I am currently a student working through a CPA certification program. I plan to read the FAQ and get settled in to the semester before I pick out a campaign to participate in.

Welcome, altair_of_8800! Forgotten Realms have so much awesome, it's like, wall to wall Elminster's house of chaos. Hope you find some great games and the semester start is smooth (no ginormous bookstore lines cause it's all digital, right?)

Hello and welcome!

I find the Forgotten Realms hits the right notes for me. There seems to be room for most kinds of fantasy and atmosphere without the setting being explicitly defined by it.

As for textbooks, digital does not actually work out for me. Same with RPG manuals. I'll use it in a pinch, and I'm not opposed to the idea, but I need to read a physical thing for it to stick.

I used to read analog, but after studying on Svalbard for 8 months, where paper is rationed, I learned to read digitally.
