The bandits struggle against the halfling together, trying to keep him down to continue beating up.

Finn cannot manage to free himself. Despite the size difference, he is also trying to fend off the strength of two people.
OOC:
You still have your bonus action and 'movement', though being restrained there ain't much you can really do. I would let you use your movement to try and draw, but it is at disadvantage and you gotta beat a 15.

Rolls

Conjoined Bandit Athletics(Advantage) - (1d20+1, 1d20+1)

1d20+1 : (16) + 1 = 17

1d20+1 : (17) + 1 = 18

OOC:
What do I roll to draw? Strength?
Sep 12, 2019 4:04 pm
OOC:
I'd say strength, yeah.
Sep 12, 2019 4:08 pm
I tug on my rapier

Rolls

(9) = 9

disadvantage - (1d20)

(3) = 3

Struggling mightily against the mercenaries, Finn attempts to escape their grip. After this fails, he figures the only way out is with deadly force. He manages to get his hand onto the pommel of his sword before his wrist is grabbed and his arm is wrenched away.

"Oh, none a' that! Don't want to spoil this nice fight by drawing steel!" announces the grabber.

They both continue to attempt to beat Finn into unconsciousness.

"Let's give him some air, he looks dazed!" said the same man, to a vile cackle from the other. They both resolve to pick the halfling up and shove him toward the window - the same window Johann attempted firing out of. If left unchecked, they will toss poor Finn four stories into the yard in the back of the fort.

Meanwhile, in the epic struggle between Doc and his competitor, the man attempts to grapple Doc to keep him from going anywhere.
OOC:
Finn's nonlethal is currently at 15/27, so he's not quite unconscious yet

1d20+1 : (14) + 1 = 15

1d20+1 : (19) + 1 = 20

Grapple! (Athletics or acrobatics to counter) - (1d20+1)

(9) + 1 = 10

1d4+1 : (2) + 1 = 3

Greta looks at the prostrate and bloodied form of the ringleader with grim satisfaction. The man's blood splattered all over her face, a mask of gore on the Wildlander, she looks up to see the two thugs moving Finn over to the window.

With a fierce shout, she promises them: "Put the little man down now or I'll kill you!"

She then steps forward and grabs one of them with her strong hands.
OOC:

OOC:
You are grappled, just no longer restrained since you're moving. They can drag you until you break free.

OOC:
Yep. The fort's yard is dug in, so it's actually a ton lower than street level. And yes, it is Johann's turn rn.

The two guards dragging Finn, is meet by Johan. Gun in one hand drawn rapier in the other.
Keep the "nice fight"... he imitates the guards word's ...in this room. Otherwise there will be troubled. He got his disserved beatdown. Leave it at that! Or blood will flow
OOC:
this intimation is different from the first, as he is ready to unleash his full power on these guys if they don't back down
And there is a slight nod to Greta

Rolls

Intimate - (1d20+1)

(19) + 1 = 20

Johann's words rung out into the room, and the two thugs heads snapped back to him. Then, before any response could be had, the beastly voice of Greta rung out in mortal threat to answer. They threw Finn to the ground in unison. Greta grabbed the nearest goon to her; a man with a moustachio'd face that was disheveled from sleep. He looked about ready to pass out from fear, and weakly struggled.
OOC:
Roll acrobatics Finn to see if you land on your feet or on your face. Beat a 5. For fun.

Greta scoffs at her mustachioed captive "There is no valor for me in defeating a weakling like you." With a contemptuous shove, she pushes him into the other goon.

She then emits a hearty belly laugh as she claps Docaster on his back "You’re all right Doc! Let’s get breakfast, I’ve worked up an appetite!"

She callously steps over the unconscious man whom she had head-butted into oblivion and starts walking towards the mess hall, completely unconcerned about her blood spattered visage.

Greta would walk right into the path of a trio of officers. Two in helmets, and one helmetless sporting a black ponytail.

"Hold, all of you. What happened here?" he asked with a tone of nonchalant authority. Now that the fog of war had cleared, fort soldiers were gathering at the exits of the barrackway, keeping mercenaries from leaving. They seemed to be getting questioned in groups. The black haired man honed in on Greta. "Bloody one. Were you part of this brawl?"

Doc "accidentally" steps on the bloodied thug on the ground as he walks over to Greta and the guards who recently appeared on the scene.
"These men almost threw another sellsword out a window!"
Sep 13, 2019 12:34 am
The dark haired man gave Doc a once-over. "Yeah? Why?"
