Week 3, Post 3, Development. Development continues on the province that surrounds the newly acquired city of Vodklivt.

The Red Road of Rime
- addresses this week's event
This expansion, would actually give you the city, as it's every 10th province, but it's all in the same week, so it's all good. (Unless I'm miscounting, in which case, poke me in the Discord channel.

Yep! I tied in the acquiring of the city (after 10 provinces) as part of my story. (I like in-game explanations for mechanical rules features.) To be clearer I should've re-ordered the two posts, but I thought you had changed your rules to adding a city after every 8th province.

Ah no, each province can be developed into 8 smaller ones, but the city requirements are still one for every 10 provinces.
Oct 15, 2019 2:17 pm
so, you get a city if one province is at 8 and another at 2?
Oct 15, 2019 3:55 pm
Roger that!

Each province can be divided into 8 smaller ones. (It's nicest to divide so on the map, half, quarter, then eighth.)

1 city every 10 provinces (wherever those provinces are).

ok, claiming my week 3 provinces :D War when really well this time... I guess that means a new city: Ashenport in the newly conquered coastal province from Foundation. week 3 link
OOC:
I'll use my culture to decrease unrest and my wealth on building the new city and for bribes and such, so the peace treaty is sign ;)
Also, renaming covenant's gate to Elven's gate, since the covenant is gone :D

OOC:
ahah, that is getting confusing. Let's say that the Eleven marches was/is a region under the control of Covenant's Gate. The elves were kind of autonomous from the Margrave's rules. When they took over Covenant's Gate, they formed a Confederacy which has grown to include the Eleven Marches, Convenant’s Gate, Northvale, Willowvale, Foundation and Ashenport. Since the Covenant is gone, the capital of this confederacy is was renamed Elven Gate, to put the emphasis on the elven origin of the Confederacy (and the Guardian's imperial ambitions), the new age and not the old age

The Ancient Treaty
OOC:
I'm taking longer to resolve some of the events, but I'm not in a hurry. I often find I need to tell some backstory to give context to current events. For this week, I've started to resolve the ancient treaty event, but not yet the simulacra event.

Bedzone: When I update the map (not yet) take a look at your islands. I think I lost the name for one of them, but I can't remember what it's supposed to be.

Map has been updated. I've included city names on the full map so I'm not including an Old Lands map any longer.
Oct 21, 2019 2:01 pm
CESN: I'll get Ashenport named on the next update.
