Okay, I have questions about initial setup!
1) You said we will vote on the setting, but the game details page states Singapore. Which is it?
2) Do you allow custom adjectives for generation? They are allowed in the rules, I'm just making sure that there's no house rules against it. :D
3) Can I use my own sheet layout?
4) Are we playing as a group that is already mixed in with current to-be-generated plot, or only about to be in it?
I'm fine with Singapore, even though I kinda wanted Kilimanjaro - but I know equal amount of information about either, so it's not a big difference, I just love mountains. :D
Still would like answers for other questions, please!
Haven't looked at the system in a couple years, and I find it very interesting the overlap that I can now see that Blades in the Dark has with the bones of Technoir.
Sorry FlyingSucculent, the discussion followed the Singapore question so I didnt go back to read the other ones.
I have no issue with custom adjectives
As long as I can read it, I don't really mind the layout of the character sheet
I'd hope that we can embroil all of the characters directly in the plot, rather than plopping them in wholesale once they and it are generated
Sorry about my lack of activity the last few days, I haven't been online much.
Are we waiting for focus to switch between the groups, or playing parallel to each other?
Also, I have a small description of Rabbit's clinic, if you need it for setting up the scene after? :D
And I second RoAries, I love the movie-like narrative!
Thanks. I just wanted to draw everyone in early rather than having an extended scene with just the two of you before anyone else gets to show off their character
It's understandable, I like that thought!
Doesn't exactly answer my questions, though I suppose we are going to switch groups. XD I'll just sit on clinic's description until we return, then! :D
Sorry for the delay everybody, my Christmas was insane.
On that note, Merry Christmas everybody! and a Happy New Year! It's my New Year's Resolution to play more TTRPGs, and that includes posting up here more often, so I'm going to work out a regular schedule to make sure that we can keep this story rolling.
