Verrian looks around at the bodies on the floor until she finds Kasia. She lifts the body by her shoulders and pulls her toward Anders.
"This is Kasia. You were holding her when I came in. I thought you might want a chance to say goodbye."
She sets the woman's upper body in Anders' lap gently. She raises one of Kasia's hands and puts it in one of Anders'. "Picture a time when the two of you were together. A happy memory. A time when you were both laughing. When you both felt the love between you."
She sits to one side and watches Anders' face, hoping he hears her. For a moment, she thinks he's too far gone, because all he can seem to do is cry, but then she sees the beginnings of a smile. When she thinks he's lost in the happy memory, she swiftly draws her jeweled dagger across his throat. It's a deep, clean cut, and it's over quickly.
@Anders: Be at peace.
She wipes her blade, sheaths it, then stands and hurries out of the building.
