Hey, I'm new!

As you can probably tell by my name, I'm a fan of zombies and apocalypses. I've been on one pbp site before, but it closed down, and it was quite simple. In other words, I am super new to this type of game, other than a short experience as a kid. I've been looking for an interesting site to play RPGs on, and found this site.
My family has never played RPGs with me, and I'm not familiar with the types of dice and the stuff in that 'tools' section. Tips for the new girl?

Welcome! Your best bet is to join a game where the story sounds interesting. Most GMs are open to beginners, so the system doesn't matter as much for you. Then the GM can show you the ropes. Good luck!

Welcome Zombie_apocalypse. While I've only played two zombie apocalypse RPG games (a one-shot of All Flesh Must Be Eaten, and a Savage Worlds adventure) they exist. Hope you find a great game to join, and learn to love this hobby as much as we do.
