Hank gives his statement to the police, pointing out the details that he can remember from the van out back. He points out the map of the gym that the leader had, letting them know that this was clearly a targeted attack.
As an EMT walks by, he waves her over.
"'Scuse me, ma'am. I know you've got your hands full, but whenever you folks get a second, I took a few headshots and wouldn't mind a professional opinion."
As she returns to the task at hand, his eyes fall on Max and Marv. Hank grabs a few bottles of water from the fridge and walks over.
He tosses one to Red and Marv, then leans down and places a bottle of water within easy reach for the rookie.
"It was a bad scene tonight. And I know it doesn't feel like it, but you did good. Protect and serve, that's what they say, right? Well I'll be damned if you didn't risk your life doing just that. These guys, they knew what they were getting into, and they were ready to do a lot worse than we did. Hell, they tried to. Those goons in the alley would have killed me where I stood if I had much to hurt up here." Hank taps his temple with his index finger lightly, grimacing a bit.
"You saw what they were trying to do to Lance. If we didn't stop them, I'm not sure if he'd ever have walked back in here. Look around, Max. The only casualties here were aggressors and warriors. You ask me, that's a hell of a lot better than most turf wars, especially in this town."OOC:
I don't have a problem with picking up in the morning once we're done here. I'd like medical treatment, but Hank doesn't have anything special he wants to hunt down tonight or with police help. Hank would tell the group about the map as soon as possible, but probably wait until the cops aren't around.
