"Hey!" Red shouts in defiance, jumping back to her slightly wobbled feet. "My turn!" Not about to take another hit Red runs at him with arms ready to swing, punching him in the gut.

The teenager doesn't see it coming: No sooner is Red knocked flat on her back, then she zeroes in on the bat-wielding teen and strikes him hard in the gut four times! The kid gives out a pained oof and falls to the ground, clutching his stomach. Nevertheless, his buddies are none-too-pleased to see their friend brought down. They aim for Red's legs, one with a two-by-four, the other with a boat oar. "Batter up!" Again, Red feels her legs subjected to painful blows, but she manages to keep her legs under her this time.
OOC:
7 more damage to Red before Soak. They'll pass a boost with the Advantage.

The jolt of Red hitting the hood and then being struck yet again causes Max's grip to slip slightly. The one apparently known as Tyler takes advantage of the situation and struggles to free himself from Max's grip. He manages to wrest free of Max, but the two remain locked in battle!

"You're messing up my ride, old man!"

6 strain damage to Max before damage. He managed to wrest himself free of your advantageous position, so no boosts on this attack. The threat -- I can strain him with it, but let me know if you want to use it for something else, like a boost versus him, say.

In the struggle, the man's keys plonk to the top of the car and start to roll off. "Shit!" he exclaims.

I'll let him drop them, but someone will have to snatch them up with a maneuver.

"Hey!" the guy says. "Give those back!" He seems unsure of what to do. You all get the impression that this guy, at least, is open to talks. His friends are another story.

So, he's at half strain threshold now, which means he's open to negotiations in the social rules. There are two more PC slots, so why don't you take them? You can do social checks against the minion groups to try to calm them down, Average check (PP) with two boosts for the keys, and a setback for combat.

You could also choose to target Tyler with the social checks, banking on the idea that if he's brought to below threshold, something might happen.

Or keep pummeling them. Up to you.

Hank swings his chain in a wide arc, keeping the striker Pantones at a distance as he shouts up at Tyler. "Listen, creampuff! Normally I'd like nothing better than to break the lot of you in half like dry spaghetti, but frankly, we've got bigger fish to fry. Tell you what. Tell the kids to put down their toys and I won't take out my irritation on your pretty little car here.

Spinning this for a coercion aimed at Tyler...I don't suppose threatening his car with a weapon is worth an extra boost?

Edit: Never mind. Another boost isn't going to rescue me from that roll...

The Pantone seems unimpressed with Hank's threats, despite really wanting his keys back.

One more PC (either Marv or Red) can either try another approach or bash some more heads.

PPP for Charm or Negotiation; PP for Coercion, Deception, or Leadership. All get 2 boosts (you have his keys) and one setback (it's combat). Leadership would get an extra couple setbacks, since he has no reason to take orders from you.

Ruby winces from to continued baseball bat brutalizing, and decides again to try fighting with words. "Could you guys...please stop...hitting me. I'll stop hitting back."

Use the two boosts two give next person 2 boosts, as they don't have to worry about extra baddies/Red's legs.

Red's words cause the teenagers to pause for a moment. They look to each other, unsure of what to do, but they don't drop their weapons quite yet.

The two young women with the cans seem unimpressed, shaking their cans furiously as Hank, Max, and Marv try to talk sense into the Pantones. "You asked for this!" one of them says, as she and her pal aim their sprays at Red. The young fighter feels the treacly fruity liquid shoot up her nose and into her eyes, causing her to cough and her nose to run. Is this hairspray?
OOC:
5 stun damage to Red, with Pierce 2. They'll crit with the advantage!

48 (PP to heal): Head Ringer: Increase all Cunning and Intellect tasks by one until injury is healed.

For their remaining advantage, they'll give Marv a setback.

Marv turns into a flurry of limbs, punching and kicking the two young women with the spray cans. A punch to the gut sends one of the girls into a hunch, giving him an easy route to put a knee in her face. She crumples to the ground, grasping at her nose. Her friend looks unsure, now that she's all alone. She raises her spray can directly at Marv's eyes...

"ENOUGH!" The voice booms over the theater's PA system. "They want to talk? Bring them to the concessions building. Let's talk."

The three teenagers still standing crouch down and help their friends up. With arms around each other and people in dazed condition, they don't look all that fearsome anymore.

Tyler pauses a moment, trying to make sure the fight's really over. He stands up, his fancy boots clanking on the roof of the car, and straightens out his leather jacket. "Uh, can I get my keys back?"

You all are welcome to continue the fight if you wish. If you're good with ending it, though, you can make a strain recovery roll (Discipline or Cool with no difficulty).
