Helios found that he didn't have any difficulty moving from pier to pier, noting the models of the boats, and their names too, for those whose names were painted or printed on their exterior. His photographic memory came in handy here. And he didn't really have to climb anywhere to do so either. Arianr and her spider network was much less helpful here. The instruction to figure out whether the boats had names or models wasn't something they could do at all, even with their sense of vibration and scent-based senses. Perceiving dust was dificult to adjudicate for them too, they simply could not figure out how much dust was 'much dust', given that seaspray and the open air elements could've washed it away.

In any case, Helios had the information he needed. Now all that was left was to tally his observations with Missy's list to narrow the boats down.

Missy suppresses a shutter when she senses the spider swarm that Helios commands. While Helios and his swam search for a boat, Missy tries to get a handle of the security. First, she cast physical Mask, that disguises her as a security guard.
This gives her the freedom to search for spirits guarding the marina and to look for security cameras. Her smart glasses have lowlight vision to penetrate deeper shadows.

While this was a marina for private vessels, it was not an area with much security. Owners, occupants and guests of the vessels could come and go as they pleased, through a large gate that remained open throughout, the same gate that Missy and Helios entered earlier. There were standard security cameras at intervals, they covered the all the access points on the first lamppost of each pier platform was an attached camera. These types of cameras were typically found in many places. The anchorage office itself also had a camera, and presumably housed any on-duty security personnel. Missy did not see any other guards on patrol, nor did she sense magical protections, but then again, it was simply an open marina. It was likely though, that individual vessels had their own security systems.

Missy's familiar spell successfully created the illusion that she was someone else altogether. It was a clear and basic spell, good enough to fool the security cameras.

Helios begins checking the list that Missy shared with his comlink as he turned around and began heading to where he left Missy but there was no Missy just a security guard walking his way. She probably ducked out of sight when the guard appeared. So he had Arianr get out of sight again and just continued to walk casually in the direction he had been heading. He had done nothing thus far so no need to be concerned about the guard was his thought.

Missy, makes sure that she, in the form of a guard, meets Helios in front of a camera, greet him politely and moves on. The story the cameras will tell is that a guard found nothing suspicious about this guy.

Helios is a bit confused at the statement from the guard but then it clicks and he nods and ducks his mouth below his high inner collar and undetectable visually responds with, "Cataloged and now cross-referencing the red shark's interests." Then continues heading back to the entrance to a place the cameras are not covering.

Helios, having surveyed the moored vessels, returned to the entrance of the marina, just away from the security cameras. He now had a mental list of the boats here, names and models, as much as he could accurately remember. He counted thirty-seven boats.

Missy, in an illusion of a security guard, completed her survey of the marina's security, noting the cameras, the possible security booth at the office, and no patrols. She still had the list of boats, with over twenty names and models, owned by those who were dead or imprisoned.

It didn't take too long for Helios and Missy to cross reference the moored boats against the list. There were only two craft present in the marina listed as having owners who were in jail or deceased. One was a mid-sized cabin cruiser, the Blue Escape, registered to one Johnny Tai. The other was a smaller Mastercraft bow rider, FL6459P, belonging to a Fong Weng.
