I found this site when I was looking for a forum posting solution for both a gaming group that I have at work (we have tried a few times to play during the lunch hour, and we have a very hard time getting together after work), as well as another one for family. I have started both of those games here, and I am interested in joining another game or two, or possibly hosting another game, depending on how the two games I have going develop.
I got into role playing in 6th grade, when a friend talked to me about Dungeons and Dragons, and explained his encounter that he had with an owl bear. I was hooked right from the beginning. I was pretty introverted through high school, so my gaming groups were very small - usually just me and a friend, and I always longingly looked at the module requirements of 3-7 players.
Most of my experiences has been with 1st edition Dungeons & Dragons, but I have also played quite a bit of Dungeon Crawl Classics. I have almost always been the DM/GM in whatever I have played, I suppose by necessity, not from actual talent.
