OOC:
Right, so you checked for damage in order to do another action, but did not roll for that new action to generate the AP.

I’ll try to get a full example of how things work at the moment so it is clear to everyone. In the meantime, this first challenge is to introduce and test the rules so if you guys have any questions, just shoot ;)

Rolls

Uriah is getting frustrated, not understanding the instructions he's been given, or what the First Mate is expecting of him and kicks a hammer across the deck, nearly hitting an group of idle workers. "Get your asses to work or I'll throw you all overboard myself", he barks.
OOC:
I guess I'll make a intimidate roll and start yelling at sailors, because I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not understanding this AP stuff and the note to me has left me more confused than ever. I have a pikeman of 3...

A bit annoyed with the old man Dominic, Roberto begins to turn away and start his work when he hears from behind him, "Let me help yah son!" Roberto, flustered, says, "You've helped plenty already, thank you." Dominic says,"Ahhh, don't be like that!" as he hobbles his way over to Roberto and gestures him back to his work, but at his side. As Roberto is shown the ropes, Dominic states, "If we aren't outta here soon, you'll be the first to blame lad. We sailors are expendable and their look'in for any excuse to get rid-a-yah. Just do as I do if yah want ur pay mah boy."

Roberto, torn, does his best to follow Dom's lead.

Frustrated with the current situation, Conrad shouts: "Lieutenant Mayers, I want these poor excuses of sailors to learn how military ship runs." He starts pointing at sailors who does nothing or seem to be slacking off, "I want these men lined up for disciplinary action," he orders, "They will serve as an example!"
Immediatelly, as soon as the order was given, Lieutenant Mayers with the help of a couple of soldiers apprehend two sailors, Captain Verne pointed at. They were lined up with their backs exposed. Captain Verne and Lieutenant Mayers crack their whips, nod to each other and then proceed with lashing. They give ten lashes each, after that Conrad shouts, "Anyone cought skipping their duties will get ten lashes!"

[ +- ] Rolls and checks
As the first mate shouts to the crew, under the watchful eyes of the captain himself, Ceebee joins in, barking at some of the more inexperienced crew, threatening and intimidating them into getting the ship ready to sail. Roberto, one of the green sailors on-board is among the targets of Ceebee's less gentle instructions. However, Dominic offers to help him finding out how to tie the knots and rig the sails. Not sure it first, Robert accepts the help of the old man, who know very well that if something happens, Robert will be the first one to pay, being an expendable lowly apprentice. In the mist of the confusion created on deck, Josephine manages to walk up to the first mate, warning him of some sailors she saw slacking off, who may be in need of some disciplining... The First Mate orders Captain Conrad to check on these sailors, who is happy to grab them and use them as an example to the others. As the punishment goes on, Harold is escorted out of the forecastle by a foreign mercenary and is quick to grab a rope from a fearful sailor.

The ship leaves port, sailing slowly under the soft breeze, leaving the noisy city behind and moving into the peaceful seas behind.
