As the first mate shouts to the crew, under the watchful eyes of the captain himself, Ceebee joins in, barking at some of the more inexperienced crew, threatening and intimidating them into getting the ship ready to sail. Roberto, one of the green sailors on-board is among the targets of Ceebee's less gentle instructions. However, Dominic offers to help him finding out how to tie the knots and rig the sails. Not sure it first, Robert accepts the help of the old man, who know very well that if something happens, Robert will be the first one to pay, being an expendable lowly apprentice. In the mist of the confusion created on deck, Josephine manages to walk up to the first mate, warning him of some sailors she saw slacking off, who may be in need of some disciplining... The First Mate orders Captain Conrad to check on these sailors, who is happy to grab them and use them as an example to the others. As the punishment goes on, Harold is escorted out of the forecastle by a foreign mercenary and is quick to grab a rope from a fearful sailor.
The ship leaves port, sailing slowly under the soft breeze, leaving the noisy city behind and moving into the peaceful seas behind.
