Kai looks for a place out of sight to land and change into his human form before he goes to investigate with hands in shorts pockets. The sound of flip flops a telltale sign of the direction he's going. He sighs and looks to inspect the break ins to see what was inside.

Kai checks a couple buildings. Locks smashed, like the doors were locked in. Mostly they're empty and ransacked, but he finds one with a blood stain on the kitchen floor. Big blood. And signs of recent occupation although it's empty now.

Ben gets knowing looks and a few, "We're glad you are here now" comments, but his timing is off and he gets no actual information from anyone. Not that they're hiding anything, they just are convinced you know what's going on.

Kai tries to figure out from the signs left behind what the last people were doing here that opted to stay. He also looks at the door to see if he can bring his 'clue' back since blood stained area stand out.

When he has a second, Tipolei will ask the Shadap Napes, The kids say there be night monster here. His night monster bad dream or is real monster ?

The housekeeper, totally holding it together after seeing the dog soldier successfully not mangle the children, says suspiciously, "I'm sure they just mean the, you know, the raiders."

Raiders ? If village has problems, Tipolei try deal with it. If raiders are problem, Tipolei deal with problem...
Village is Tipolei friend now and Tipolei wants friend be safe.

Kai goes looking for the others with a comically large piece of wood flooring above his head. "Better burry up before I run out of time to do this..." he reminds himself shuffling along.

The Shadap Napes looks at Tipolei suspiciously. "What do you mean, 'if'?"

Tipolei and friends new here. You had demons problem and we take care. But we not know other problems you have, nobody tell us since we here...
Tipolei want help, but not know how because not know problem...

She looks surprised. "Oh, that's interesting. Why are you here, then?"

Chay who found Tiploei while he was looking around is only too happy to answer the housekeeper. Um..well..to debrief, take a hot shower and eat pastries of course!
