Liroc is not much of an investigator himself, but he knows the importance of relevant information. He will focus on one thing he is good at : Getting ready to receive the ennemy. He will either protect the first person to go investigate or watch the rear, whichever seems more necessary with how the rest of the group moves.

Malingad sheaths his hatchets, then unbinds the staff from his pack and uses it to move and search the body for clues....

Malingad starts poking and prodding the body with his staff. Eventually he manages to slide the staff under the body in order to flip it over. As he does so, he notice what looks like a broken stick sticking out from the corpse's rib cage... Reminding him of a broken arrow shaft, albeit, a primitive-looking one...

Malingad will notice some more wounds on the body which correspond to manufactured weapons. With her critical success, Herradine will determine that whoever inflicted those wounds was smaller than the man, she will also spot a small purse with some silver pieces in them... and since this man obviously won't need it anymore...

Herradine reaches for the purse, picks it up and puts it away without counting the money inside, so she doesn't lose focus on watching the surroundings. She doesn't hide that she picks it up.
