Hello, I'm Egg. I've been playing pbp for a few years now since my face to face group all moved away(including me).
My main love is for the Paizo __finders games but most pbp I've found is dedicated to organized play. I thought I'd try a new place that may have some more long-form games. I do enjoy lots of other games and I'm willing to try new things too. Let's see what we've got here.

Welcome Egg. Pathfinder gets a lot of love here, and a few have tried running APs (Skulls & Shackles, for example). But the dungeon heavier content is more difficult to manage.

I tried running The Mummy's Mask here (which I've run IRL) but it ended up being a bit of a slog, for me and for the players.

I am playing in a Curse of the Crimson Throne AP which is going quite well.

Yeah I tried running a skulls game and realised that the first bit likely isn't good for this style. (It involves a lot of checks, and not much else so is a slog)

I have found a few pbp APs that I tried to play. In my experience the problem was people disappearing, probably because they didn't realize how long that would take to complete. The site I was on at the time made the ghosting worse I think. It had this weird double anonymity thing, once you were in a game the other players didn't even know your username for the site, just character name.

Well if you feel up to running one I'd be interested :P.

I may try my hand again when I've got less workload. Got a mythic one to kick first though.
