So far it looks like a rogue and a cleric?

Btw, I love this pic. The best in the whole book. Haha
I agree, i couldn't resist using it! The picture pretty much says it all about how I'd like to play character's personality, although I will elaborate more as her backstory settles. The flavour text from the magic card this image is from states "There’s no success like excess!"

I had forgotten to add a Satyr eccentricity (obsessed with flowers), Nylea's Favour (was born at dawn on the spring equinox), and her traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws. I've also added the Supernatural Boon as the Magic Initiative feat, giving her the ability to cast Druidcraft, Guidance, and Speak with Animals. I am expecting these to be powers flow from her blessing from Nylea. Mostly fodder fro roleplay, although Guidance + expertise will make her a pretty reliable sneak and persuader.

I have some idea of backstory but I'll wait to set it in stone until we have a chance to collaborate a bit. Loosely, Astrea is a Dawngreet (a satyr emissary, explorer, and storytellers sent to other communities throughout the world) and one of Nylea's Favoured.

Leaning towards a minotaur barbarian, would allow me to start the game with a 20 in strength 😅

Currently I'm thinking a leonin fighter, a skilled athlete devoted to Iroas. His faith put him at odds with the other leonin of his pride, so he's left Oreskos in search of great challenges to overcome in order to impress the gods (and hopefully to compete in the Iroan Games!)

Rogue, Cleric, Fighter, and Barbarian so far? This will be interesting. :)

Thinking centaur paladin of Ephara. As a colt, he was fascinated by human cities that he saw in the distance. He eventually made his way to them and slept some distance from the walls before he made his way inside. That night, he had a dream calling for him to protect the bastions of Ephara's people. Since then, he's been dedicated as a protector of goodly civilization.

Leaning back towards Grave Cleric. Likely going to try and be more spell focused, to have a different play style from my other cleric.

I just want one more clarification before locking in Arethos - One of the ways to lose piety is -Removing wealth from a corpse or defiling a tomb. What here is classed as wealth. Money, or looting in general? Is it just her, or allowing others to do so.

Basically I don't want a character who will deny looting to the rest of the party, especially if it;ll be main source of income. If it is just coin, or we will get most our wealth otherwise, that should be more workable, as long as others are okay with that.
I would probably define it as something where you’re defiling any sort of death or burial right. So if you’re looting a tomb, that’s probably a no-no. Mind you, I imagine if you took a "well, that’s not what I believe in, but you follow your own conscience" approach, you wouldn’t LOSE piety. :)
Realised I never answered this. I was thinking the way she would see is is make sure they had a gold coin to place over each eye. If they don't have enough she would try and provide from her personal fund. If they have on them, she would insist on the 2 gp being left, and placed. She likely would grumble about other physical coins being removed, but will not prevent nor partake. If neither can cover then she would sell their gear to get it.

Would everyone else be okay with this. (Including you as the GM Mr.Armitage). Just aware playing with loot can cause conflicts, so want to be sure its all okay before we start.

I'm okay with in-game conflicts over loot. I understand it is your character and not you as a player, and appreciate your care in mentioning this at the start. Also, I have a decent sleight of hand score :)

Good of you to check before we start. :)

Scylax is respectful of others' faith, so if Arethos insisted that leaving coins on a corpse's eyes was necessary, he would simply take that as a given. He wouldn't be taking part in grave-robbing or looting of tombs in any case, and would generally prefer to defeat opponents without killing them if at all possible.

Yeah that's fine by me :)

Loving the team so far. Looks like we'll have a team with all the non-human races, which is super interesting. So far it's looking like:
- Minotaur Barbarian
- Leonin Fighter
- Satyr Rogue
- Triton Cleric
- Centaur Paladin

If it’s easier for everyone to use DND Beyond, I’m okay with it. Just drop your shareable link in your character description.

Alright, just waiting on Naatkinson. I'll post the first chapter thread in the next day or two, so try and have it done by then. :)

I've put up the game thread. Feel free to get that post in ASAP. I'm a tad impatient, but we won't move forward until everyone has a chance to get started. :)
