Just joined the site, have never played by post before but am excited to try it out. Started playing D&D a bit ago and got into it in a big way so looking forward to new ways to play!

To join a game, keep your eyes on the Games Tavern, where GMs advertise their games and look for players.

Hmm, well I'd say LOTR, ASOIAF, and Kingkiller Chronicle, but those are probably kind of boring answers because they're at the top of most lists. For a somewhat less basic answer I'd say the Death Gate Cycle. Just this year I started reading both Wheel of Time and some of the Dungeons and Dragons novels too, so that's what I'm currently on.

I've actually never read the Kingkiller Chronicle. Book 1 is waiting in my audible library though!

Welcome! I was a huge fan of the Dragonlance Chronicles series many years back. No idea if they still hold up. There's lots of fantasy to be had around here, so hopefully you can find a game to your liking soon.
