Osvaldo's town was constantly raided by orcs and goblins. His parents and a few others decided to move to a more secure area but were ambushed by said beasts along the way. He, his family, and some of the townfolk survived, but others were slaughtered, including his best friend. That event stayed with him, creating a desire to rid the world of such evil miscreants. He thought the military would be the best way to go. He found he had a talent in stealth and scouting and an affinity for nature. He was also a pretty crack shot. Being a ranger seemed natural to him. He started to enjoy taking down the enemy, and would take more risks to do so. Even made a bit of a name for himself, as the Slayer of Scum. One day he was asked to scout out an area with possible orc activity. He went to check it out, the whole thing seemed a bit suspicious after some investigating. It was a trap layed down by the enemy to end the Slayer. He was captured and tortured. While being transported to an orc prison settlement, he managed to escape and found his way back to base. He put in his papers, and now roams the wilds, ending orcs/goblins, and helping those in need.
