Fairly new player here, I only just got into Tabletop games last year, and have only played D&D 5e, pokemon 5e, and sw 5e. Honestly, I'm just a bit desperate to play because the online game I used to play in died (it was also at 4 am for me which was not ideal) and the irl game I play is very sporadic, and I have only reached 6th level after one year lmao. I'm hoping pbp will help sate my fix, and will also help me in roleplaying as a character.

You should be able to find a game for yourself here. 5e is played regularly and there is a Star Wars 5e game that a member just opened (Just saw you already joined that. That's great!) For more games, check out the Games Tavern, which is where GMs advertise their games and look for players.

If you want to see how GP functions, have a look at the New GP Member Guide and maybe browse some public games as well.

I would also direct you to the discord but I saw that you already found that on your own :)
