I think you missed it, but the DM had Teth revive you.
OOC:
I didn't miss it, but was asked to roll, so I rolled. Many thanks to Teth. That was very sweet, and very dangerous with bloody knife welding thugs over my devastated body.
OOC:
I meant to say I think you *may have* missed it. Just in case. Wasn't trying to be snarky (for once).

OOC:
perhaps I should have narrated leaping off the spider... Also, how the neck is a spider clawing at it's own back? I don't think the legs bend like that...
OOC:
uh oh
Though Storm seems surprised that the spider would flail as such and is perhaps right that it could not actually touch its back, the movement and confusion was too much for him and he falls off the back for a bit of fall damage.
OOC:
oh, he was planning on making the spider squirm, I just forgot to complete the narrative as I had planned, having Storm jump off gracefully. But, I accept the consequences of forgetting to follow through. Oh, and just because, here's Maggie's recharge roll. I don't think I saw that in Maggie's turn.

Kit is torn, she wants to attack the hag that is here and has hurt her husband. Instead, she decided to try helping Teth and Jacob, especially while he's down. With a rhythmic move and a hum of a lullaby, she casts an area of sleep to put down the other hag and the two bookies. As she does, she keeps an eye on Duke, really uncomfortable with how injured he is. "I swear to the gods, if you go down mister, I will kill you myself. Be careful."

One of the thugs passes out, negating the sneak attack advantage since the other is not near an unincapacitated ally.

That^^^. Except her normal sword does not cut so well the enchanted hide of the Hag. She only does half damage.

The spider is still panicked but turns its anxiety into an attack on that creature who has put this stinger into its back. A long angry look emanates from the spider’s many eyes on Stormslayer, but the spider nevertheless turns back to the crunchy Paladin. It is as if the holy light of the sword attracts her ire. She bites and slashes with her legs, though at a disadvantage due to the burning pain of the dagger. She is not able to penetrate Duke’s armor and shield.

The Hag on the ground before Duke snears at him and stands. She sees that Duke is concentrating on the spider and she throws herself in melee to attack him. Her nasty long fingers reach to claw at Kitty’s property. One of the decrepit fingers scratch Dukes cheek and he howls in pain. The finger does little damage but poison seeps into his blood stream racking him.

Kon manages to slice off two whole legs! That spider is focused on Duke only by sheer will power.

The Thug should run! He should brave the flames of the infernal above rather than face two heroes against his one, when just recently he was two against one. However, he isn’t acting rationally. He continues to attack Jacob with advantage since he is still prone and that is enough to give a sneak attack if he hits. With two dagger attacks, he slices twice with the sneak attack bonus and the snarky one collapses into unconsciousness once again.

On his turn, he fails his death save. Two more fails and he does.

I'm assuming that's two daggers and two damage and not four daggers? So I'm dead again? Not sure how many stab wounds and blood loss one small elf can take, by since I can't case my point blank anger firebolt into his face, the promise of which kept me up to this point I'm going to bed.

ROUND SEVEN ACTION

Alright, time to get some damage in. Let's see how many legs can be removed before this thing can't walk! I attack the two remaining legs on the side of the spider that Kon has been hacking at.
OOC:
Woo! 15 pts of damage each for two legs and one miss. That should take care of two legs, right?

While Stormslayer is celebrating the fact that he is dismembering legs, he doesn’t notice that he has killed the spider outright. It’s eyes die out staring at Duke’s flames. Before Storm realizes what he has done, his blade sword swings up and sings. He goes into a momentary trance as he gets that vision again of the beautiful pale lady. She glowers at Storm and viciously spits, "You have only killed my avatar, Godslayer. Don’t revel in your victory yet. My pet will finish you, and take that sword as well as Kiltzi’s!". The vision fades

well then. that ended quickly. I thought it had a bit more to go, having not seen a "bloodied" comment by the DM. Now we just need someone to heal duke and jacob again, and kill the hags and thugs and stuff.
