Please roll with disadvantage from the sand storm (roll again). Roll for your bonus ax attack at disadvantage as well if you like using your War Magic.

curses. my only magical attack is a lit blade that rebounds it's damage if used against the undead. guess I might as well dance a jig. haha.
OOC:
You attacked with your vicious blade before, that's magical. Your dagger is magical... your spells are magical.

OOC:
Ah, okay. I was just being silly. I figured I could at least grapple something and put it at a disadvantage. But I wasn't sure if only the "magical" component of an attack's damage would work. But, I'll just have Storm go all Storm on the next mummy and see what happens.

Opps, forgot the disadvantage roll.
OOC:
Yep, definitely a disadvantage with the firebolt

From outside the sand whirlwind, the party can see fire lighting up and a thunderous ax swing. The ax thuds into mummy with a hard crash and the dead moans.

OOC:
Assuming Duke doesn't do anything drastic that makes this not possible or completely foolish.
Wanted to get this in, just so I don't slow things down once Storm's turn comes.
Somehow having heard the grinding of stone cut through all the battle noises, my attention is drawn to the mummy who decided to make a fashionably late and dramatic entrance to the party. Having watched the end of one toilet paper wrapped bag of bones, I find the insurmountable fear to have collapsed. Smiling a rictus grin, I pound my way over to the newest groupie, twisting the pommel on my dagger and growing twice my already large size, thankful for the 20' high ceilings.

Despite the temptation to see if the bones will crumble underneath my weight were I to step on it, I instead attack the mummy with my much larger dagger and vicious longsword. Hopefully their increased size will make it harder to miss, despite the target being relatively smaller now.

Caine moves to the lower left at stack the mummy that is emerging and attacks at it.
Getting a little ahead of herself, she races to the new mummy and passes Storm lumbering on his way there. So excited she was to move and attack, that she didn't wait until an ally was near so as to get her rogue sneak attack in. No matter, she swings wildly and misses anyway.

As Kitty runs up to her husband and protector, Duke gives her a hug as he scans the room. To the north is fire and to the east is sand. The knight sees Storm and Caine race to the south. Stepping a mere 10 feet, he maintains the Giant Elf and his wife in his aura, while being able to swing at the mummy. He lands two strikes but fails to shove the strong thing to the ground. Duke has exhausted all of his first level prayers for the smites he has smote.

Seeing the Great Cat's tail retreat from the sand storm, Duke answers an unheard prayer and throws the flaming maca from his back up into the vaulted ceiling in a great arc toward his friend. "Cat, we need the tabaxi back!!!"

Storm, however, stomps his huge ass self over and lands three long magical blade attacks. The cords of bindings have been shreaded. The mummy is inanimate.
OOC:
A massive 49 points damage, with Colossus damage since Duke sliced him with his magic sword.
Mar 3, 2021 11:59 pm
The mummies do not relent, despite the fact that the party has taken two down. As the feeling of negative energy that pervaded the room and almost made Duke sick with evil begins to subside, a great wave of nausea again washes over the party. The reaction on Duke's face is enough to let everyone know that there will be no healing at all in this evil room. Following Storm's turn, the sand storm twists around Kon and Te and remerges in its original form, and pounds on Kon with its rotten fist! A tall figure can be made out on the dais getting out of the coffin there. The mummy that had come out of its whirlwind form turns and acquiesces toward the dais and proceeds to rotate around without getting out of melee range to join the other mummy with its back against the wall. The evil grows and becomes more tangible as a swarm of hungry locust manifests as a great cloud in the room just out of reach of the two mummies in the upper right. They bite and sting into any exposed flesh of the adventurers. The two mummies continue their attacks on the pulverized Kon and turn their dreadful glare on Kon and the great cat. They are intent on eliminating these two adventurers in front of them, no matter what. The king walks forward through the fire wall and the swarm of locusts toward the great cat and attacks with both his fist and his glare. The locust storm persists and makes everything inside its 40 foot diameter hemisphere difficult terrain and slightly obscured as well as painful.
OOC:
Everyone give me a CON save against the locust, Kitty, Xoch', Caine and Storm may add +3 from Duke's Aura.

Kon, give me a WIS save against dreadful glare
