I use my Mage Hand cantrip to summon a bodyless hand, already gripping the reigns of one of the seahorses, and direct it to steer the seahorse into a collision with the other seahorse.
Your 10 pound strength fails on a strength check against the sea warrior.

curses. I was hoping the element of surprise would give it a moment of control.

I grab my crossbow and head up top with my ax on my back. I see the fishmen boarding and I take position and fire the crossbow at the nearest one on the port side.

I would assume you have a modifier for your attack. I noticed that, when adding rolls, you can't have spaces in the roll definition. i.e. you can't enter "1d20 + 4" you have to enter it as "1d20+4"

Did the fishermen take damage from the flaming sphere, or should I let that go and move on to something else?
Aug 21, 2020 1:17 am
Reacting to the critical hit, my Stone's Endurance flares up to absorb some of the damage... it much more effective than the wet-clay-like performance of the previous battle.

I did not forget to attack. I assumed the movement was round one, and was waiting for the notice of Round Two. Either way, a soon as I can attack, firebolt the the closest fishman.

Rolls

Firebolt - (1d20+4)

(15) + 4 = 19

A wee bit late in init, Jacob remembers he can take a motion and an action in one round. His fire bolt blasts one of the fish back into the water. Too small!

Reaching into his pocket, Stormslayer withdraws one of the stones he secreted away before boarding the ship, knowing that stones would be hard to come by when on the ocean. With warm hands, he throws the stone and spits out a word of the old language, summoning his companion Magma Mephit, directing her to flame the four that are attacking me, as I drop and roll through a gap between two of them, ducking the cone of fire, and coming back to my feet.

I slide to a stop and cast thorn whip on the second closest fisherman, hopefully yanking him into the fisherman next to him.
