Nineteenth century.

Also, Bowlofspinach won't be joining us. Once the last two characters are submitted, I'll review them and we can get started.

I should have my character completed and submitted by tomorrow.

I used 1850s hunter for my search

Character sheet submitted, hope it's all good !
The only thing it lacks right now is the relationships with other characters, do we have a general idea for how the group formed as a whole ?

As a group, we could just all be from a small town
We could add one or two others.
I did one with windyridge. I am open to suggestions

I am pretty comfortable with the all from the same small town scenario.

My main thoughts are Anders is pretty amicable to working with other but doesn't like it when people act unprofessionally.

You can pick one of us and either be "impressed that they always seem to act professionally" or "unimpressed as you have heard they act unprofessionally"

Dagmar definitely isn't very professional. xD

Windyridge says:
Dagmar definitely isn't very professional. xD
I am cool with that

I think I messed up on my Rescources. What's the starting value for an Officer?
OOC:
Nevermind I looked back and answered my own question. Sorry about that

Small town group is fine by me then !

Okay, Squadfather44 submitted a character so we have the whole crew. As mentioned before, I'll check these today and start the game later on in the day.

I am also fine with whatever the group decides. Dagmar is just a drifter but he does enjoy being liked even though he is quite an unsavory character.

My general opinion on these type of corebook starting adventures is to go in with a thought of how my character is going to react and naturally get the relationships handled.

Since this is a one-shot opening module adventure, I don't think having predetermined relationships figured out is as important as the GM doesn't necessarily need to plan inter-personal conflict between us or ways to play on those relationships. Obviously that stuff can still be sprinkled in, but it is far less of a priority.

Dagmar
- spend skill points (10)
- choose only one talent from the three
- record Resources 1 (plus any skill points allocated)

Trond
- Resources should be 2 I think

Eir
Looks good!

Anders
- Resources should be 2

Gregor
Also looks good!

Hunter says resources 2-4. I went with the middle ground.

Quote:
Your Resources value indicates how much capital you have at your disposal. A higher value means that you enjoy a nicer home and lifestyle, and have easier access to things you need. The table on the next page shows the meaning of different values. In-game events that affect your living standard will change the value. Normally you start out with the lower value for your archetype. However, this can be raised by spending skill points – each point raises Resources by one step, although your starting value cannot exceed what is indicated in the archetype. Resources can only be raised with skill points before you start playing; once the game has begun you can only increase Resources by purchasing talents (see chapter 4).

Oh man, I totally misunderstood that, so I fixed it on my sheet.

Me too. Off to fix it.
