Ataan calms down eventually stabbing at thin air repeated when he tires his eyes still crazed, "We should see where she headed off." he mutters out of breath.

Entering the room, Emma notices the apparition is no more. She feels a sense of calm that wasn't there earlier, both in her and the house. "I think we've done it. It feels...better. Gavrel, perhaps a quick prayer for our dearly departed? And then maybe we can explore the rest of the house in peace?"
Oct 6, 2020 3:03 pm
Gerald much relieved is glad to see a tormented soul released. Yes, a prayer is a good idea. We have done a good deed this day. Shall we pray, tend to the wounded and then explore?
Oct 6, 2020 4:54 pm
Gavrel nods, thinking the same thing and leads any who wish to join in in a prayer for the woman's soul and thanks for the continued safety of the party.

"An excellent course of action Gerald.". Emma will join Gavrel in the prayer and tend to any who need healing after.
OOC:
I can try a healing roll for anyone who needs it

OOC:
Healing might not work, if you've been bandaged once for those wounds.

In the kitchen, you find some insane squatters. They were attempting to make soup from old bones, but appear to be confused as if waking from a nightmare.
Oct 10, 2020 5:22 pm
Gerald comes upon the crazy inhabitants of the kitchen and though wary, since he deems them unpredictable, he asks them why they are there?

They're insane. They give you insane answers, with jumping and dancing, and extolling on about how Chaucer's too allegorical for the common folk.
Oct 12, 2020 9:34 pm
Would you believe I am familiar with Chaucer, Gerald asks? This comment is comical since Gerald is pretty much illiterate and has no idea what allegorical even means. At a loss as to what to do in the face of such nonsensical behavior Gerald bellows, STOP!

The men are scared and confused, and terribly hungry. Ravenous even.
Oct 13, 2020 1:45 pm
Ataan looks for signs of the bones being human from afar and the people for tell tale signs of cannibalism. His hands on his main gauche and dagger clearly.
Oct 13, 2020 3:51 pm
Well I tired. Gerald grabs his pistol, ready for anything because there is no logic to the scene before them and anything can happen.
Oct 13, 2020 4:32 pm
They'll not let you get closer enough to their previous bones to examine them. They look really old though.

Do you want to try bribing them with food, or intimidating them into fleeing this place, or something else?
Oct 14, 2020 1:41 pm
Gerald grabs some food he had handy in his belt. Maybe this will work.

Holding it up, dangling it in the air he says, Hey there! Are you hungry? I have some tidbits of food here I used for snacking along the trial. You are welcome to it, and there is more where that came from.
Oct 14, 2020 4:15 pm
The squatters demolish the food, fighting over it, but they each manage to get some crumbs. Their appetites whet, they approach you hungrily.
Oct 14, 2020 4:23 pm
"Even if they're hungry to come mindless attacking for more..." Ataan mutters raising his weapons, "Maybe we should have just burned this place to the ground..."
Oct 14, 2020 7:12 pm
Uhh anyone else with food, now is the time to share. Gerald waves his pistol about to try and scare them off or at least distract them until such time as more food is made available. When they start to eat it, we should attack now that we know they are hungry.
Oct 15, 2020 2:48 am
"Use the food as a distraction and wipe them out? Works for me." Emma takes out her rations and throws them at the hobos, then readies her weapons, waiting for the best opportunity to attack.

If you feed them, you'll satisfy them. But if you do want to fight them, say so and I'll flip action cards.

"Wipe them out?" Gavrel gasps, "I'm sorry, but I can't condone those sorts of actions."
