Sorry for the brief lapse between posts. My daughter had Greco-Roman and Freestyle State Championships this weekend.

No worries, I was out camping this weekend! Such a beautiful weekend, counterpointed by the pouring rain today.

Yeah, that's called a Cement Mixer. It wasn't too shabby. She won Greco and Freestyle State titles, so that automatically qualifies her for the Freestyle National Championships in Fargo this summer, which is the real reason she went down to Butte for these. Just to make sure she secured that berth on the Fargo Team.
Her and Momma are headed to Las Vegas for the National High School Recruting Showcase today. It's a big tourney all the college recruiters come to to watch potentials show their stuff. It's her 16th b-day today too.
Hmm... I feel like a "Pick Pockets" roll is the closest we get to sleight-of-hand, so let's go with that. I could probably make things really complicated with asking what size gem you wanna snatch, and the size of the three might include penalties, or whatever, but we start muddying the waters with homebrew trash once we go down that road. So let's stick with the rules and say it's a flat d100 roll per gem. At Level 1 you succeed on a 1-20; 21-100 you fail. You just tell me which of the three gems Luban's trying to pocket.

Not specifically related to the game, but I got my new sunglasses in today, a color scheme called "sunbathing with wizards". Looks like Eltrezar needs some more swagger after his robes and (hopefully) recovered dank-shank.
