I'm going to be away from my computer until Saturday night, and don't want to hold up the story. Eltrezar is more than willing to follow Alice's orders for now.

Woah-ho! Famous last words! Hahaha, happy turkey day everyone!

Ok. Hope I did that right.

Yup. I think only that you wrote your note to yourself, though. Technically only the people who you included in the note can see what it says, but the DM can see all secret notes passed. That's the only way I was able to read it.

Ah, ok. I had read somewhere that DMs could read all notes. How about dice rolls?
Nov 29, 2020 6:33 pm
Yes, DMs can see all dice rolls as well, but can hide their dice rolls from players if they want.

Yikes! Here we go! Good luck everyone, hope we all survive!

I should hope that I spotted every frog, and that one doesn’t sneak up on me while I’m distracted and alone. You’ll never hear from Gilly again!

I'll fire off a PM to TheFoxofFinch tomorrow if Coulson hasn't taken his turn.
Nov 30, 2020 11:37 pm
I forget, are meant to wait and post in turn or should we just fire off our actions and DM will summarize?
Dec 1, 2020 12:34 am
Generally, I prefer you wait, because my monsters/NPCs may completely screw your plans over on their turn on their turns.

I’m here. Sorry I missed a day

No worries, we're all just really excited. Does B/X have rules for cooking giant frog legs?

I just posted. I think I may have done the horses hood attacks wrong. But I’m pretty sure Coulson sword attack is a miss

No problem. I assumed you didn't notice your turn was up.

Ha! Thanks to B/X's optional rule of allowing PCs to make Ability rolls, I think we can figure out a way to make that happen if one so desires. Just have to figure out which Ability is used for it. I'm thinking the culinary arts falls under Intelligence. Turning them on a spit would not require much effort so there wound be a bonus to your roll. Making a five-star meal out in the swamp with freshly gathered spices and herbs would be a bit difficult and incur a penalty to your roll.

I think you did Coulson's horse attack correctly. Basically, between the two of you, you only get one move Action (presumably that of the horse's), but you both get to make your Attack Actions.

Also, technically, I'm pretty sure Magic users and Clerics are supposed to declare they're casting a spell at the beginning of the round, regardless of where their turn is in Initiative order, but I've been lousy at enforcing that. So I need to get better about that.

Also, I don't think it was ever declared what Angel was doing with his gold. So for the time being I'm assuming that he's got it stashed in his horse's saddlebags. Not the most secure place to stash nearly 600 coins, but otherwise his Basic Move Rate is 30' (10'/turn in combat). Each horse has two saddlebags, which hold 300 coins in weight, meaning his horse's bags are almost already full.
Neither of the Bandit horses had saddlebags on them, as they were basically tacked up for the purposes of jetting into town, setting the fire to the inn, and jetting on back. They weren't intended to need to carry anything besides their riders.

Also, Coulson, I have your lance strapped to your horse when not being ridden. I think there's also probably some way your warhammer can be fastened to the horse as well if you don't want to carry it all the time when on foot. It shouldn't go towards your saddlebag encumbrance if that's the case.

Given that I only have one spell today, I'm planning on saving it for a crucial moment. Eltrezar is just planning on throwing knives (inefficiently) until that moment arrives.
