Does the moathouse claim as loot if we claim it for ourselves? What is the Real Estate-to-Gold-to-XP ratio here?

Oh I'd say this keep is worth at least 40,000 gold/xp in it's current condition. And as long as we pee on it it's legally ours. Seems like an open and shut case to me.

Ok I can either create another dwarf, sword and shield in plate Mail to be a traditional tank. Or a I can go a damage output barbarian, less tanky. Trade off looks to be 2points damage vs 2 or 3 points AC

See I'm super into the Conan world and Sword&Sorcery in general so I love the barbarian class but ultimately (purely statistically) I think dwarf is a better class (infravision, trapfinding, best savings throws in the game) but you gotta make a character you actually wanna play otherwise it all slides down the wall.

There's actually rules for splitting race and class in OSE, if you're interested. I just never presented them to you all to keep things simple.
