Ok I finished my character though I can take one more advantage but need to have my two disadvantages approved. I was thinking of moving wealth to R2.

Derek was an up and coming naval officer (Lieutenant). Things were going well and even met another officer from a well to do family. They married young and had a daughter.
He was stationed towards the frontier in a more dangerous posting working on a patrol ship. It was there he got his nickname "stitches" as he was called on to fix minor injuries from the crew when they had shore-leave. He was in a few combat situations with pirates and was commended on his role. Besides being the medic he helped with maintenance of the ships personal equipment. All in all things were doing great.
His wife though was given a safe staff position by the pulled strings of her family. This was thought to be good as she was able to take care of their daughter while he was deployed. So he was greatly surprised when he got word that his wife was killed during a hostile protest at the military base she was stationed. He took it hard and at the end of his enlistment resigned for each day he put on the uniform reminded him of who he had lost.
Though he resigned he still loves being out in space, so has decided to try his hand in mercenary work. He is good at what he does though he makes sure to try and contact his daughter as much as he can.
Will do equipment after the rest has been approved.
