@charles.c.cowley:
The man watches cooly as Eltrezar fishes in his purse and grabs his coins. As the fifth coin plinks into the box and the druid sees Eltrezar's hands are empty he finally smiles. "Ah! Thank you so much for your generous donation! I will see to it that your contribution benefits the needy of this small village. I am indeed the druid of this grove. I go by the name of Jaroo… Jaroo Ashstaff to be more specific, just in case you find any other Jaroos wandering around this village, although admittedly I never have. Who might you be, and since I suspect you have knocked on my door for more than the simple need of helping Hommlet’s less fortunate by way of a financial contribution, how may I be of service to you?"
@everyone else:
Rannos waddles slowly to and fro, bringing axe, chainmail, and bow to the counter, breathing laboriously with the effort of hauling his girth about. After Alice asks about the rest of the equipment, he brings lantern, two flasks of oil, and a large sack to the counter. "That’ll be another twenty gold for these items."
As he waits for payment for these items his eyes light up a bit as Alice enquires about horses.
"We do indeed have some fine animals for sale, tended carefully by our groom here," he gestures at the groom sweeping the floor. I have a number of mules, draft horses, and light horses… even some ponies. At the moment I have only one medium-sized war horse. She’s a fine animal though, and I’m asking 325 gold for her. If you are in want of more war horses I can aquire them, but Gremag and I are rather picky about the animals we buy and sell, and it will take some time to find animals worthy of our approval. Anywhere from a week to one month depending on the quality of animal and how many are needed.
"Purchase the horse", he says, looking down at the dwarf "and I’ll throw in a lance for only 7 gold."
