You could probably get a decent kineticest out of that but warning their mechanics are all over the place.

Kineticest was on my short list to look at. The 'all over the place' mechanics and d8 hit dice didn't ring 'tank' to me. I usually play PCs with some type of magical ability, but we need a strong fighter-type.
I think I am going to start off as a multi-class Barbarian/Hunter to give my character the rage stat boosts and the d12 hit points, then add a bit of druid with the hunter's spells. To reflect the situation in Therris, my character will be taking the Verminous Hunter archetype. Who better to respond to a bug problem?
