Gerbo sees Kerisha and winces "You look like the whipped backside of an ox. Can anyone help her? She made need help before we go in." He then crouches down near the entrance, readies his bow, and watches the goblins to cover the group.

I'd like to ready an action to shoot if they notice us. Feb 1, 2021 6:57 pm

Orel nods, asking whoever's closest (in this case Belanor) to hold his torch as he pulls his healer's kit out of his bag, motioning Kerisha over. He grabs some bandages, wrapping up the older wound from Glart as well as pulling out a particularly nasty piece of rubble that had punctured her skin.
[ +- ] Feat: Healer
You are an able physician, allowing you to mend wounds quickly and get your allies back in the fight. You gain the following benefits:
- When you use a healer's kit to stabilize a dying creature, that creature also regains 1 hit point.
- As an action, you can spend one use of a healer's kit to tend to a creature and restore 1d6 + 4 hit points to it, plus additional hit points equal to the creature's maximum number of Hit Dice. The creature can't regain hit points from this feat again until it finishes a short or long rest.

"Wasn't a problem for me. I'm quite a bit smaller than you.
I'll try to keep an eye out for that, though." Gerbo whispered. "I can open up with a shot into them. Everyone else know what they're doing? I can start things and maybe you rush in?"

Belanor will take the torch and try to hold it steady for Orel.
After Orel bandages Kerisha. "I just can't anymore. Cleanicus upicus! Belanor whispers.
He waves his hand in a sweeping motion as if to brush dirt off.

OOC:
Casting presto on Kerisha specifically for the wounds but if it gets some of her blood soaked body I'm ok with that too ;)Feb 2, 2021 10:13 pm
Kerisha knows the drill, she's been in this situation many times before, and Orel has always been there to patch her up. It's why she values the companionship so much. She knows deep down that working as a team they can overcome any challenge. But sometimes its hard to go against natural instinct. She nods her thanks to Orel and gives Belanor a toothy grin as the blood stops dripping from her nose.
OOC:
Gerbo fires and we charge? Or sneak on past to see if we can find the leader? I'm happy with eitherFeb 2, 2021 10:56 pm
OOC:
logic says we should probably take these out quickly lest this tunnel don't lead anywhears. so no back up. so scout other tunnel before going into kill box?Last edited February 2, 2021 10:58 pm

Seeing Kerisha got patched up, Gerbo draws back and looses an arrow at one of the figures around the fire.
Hopefully we can get them quickly so we don't bring extra company.

Orel, noticing Gerbo taking a shot, quickly straps his shield to his arm and asks Belanor to hold the torch for the combat.
OOC:
Should we roll initiative? Also technically donning a shield is an action, but I think it's safe to assume Orel would do so if the party had agreed to attack.Feb 3, 2021 8:54 pm
OOC:
I’m not sure what the party has agreed to at this point.Right now I have Gerbo as the only one at the top of the steep passage launching an attack with everyone else still at the bottom of the debris filled passageway after Kerisha’s tumble.
If everyone wants to take a turn to get into some sort of position (and roll initiative!) before Gerbo’s attack, that’s cool - I’ll edit the post I have ready to go to reflect that.
If not the gnome is likely to have a lot of goblin ‘buddies’ coming after him in short order with out any support. :-)

Kerisha tries again to climb the steep slope, this time she is more careful about her footing. Drawing her sword, she's ready for action. As soon as Gerbo releases the arrow, she will be in that room. Well, maybe at some point after he releases the arrow she'll make her way into the room.

With Gerbo waiting to shoot, if someone wants to do something else, now would be the time for suggestions. He's just starting to get anxious about staying out in the entrance to a tunnel when we just killed someone on the bridge.Feb 4, 2021 9:30 pm
With everyone in place, Gerbo let's loose with his arrow.
The impatient Gnome's arrow catches one of the smaller goblins in the rib cage just under its collarbone, ripping right through and exiting just below the opposite shoulder blade. The bewlidered creature drops its disgusting snack to the ground and rolls onto it back.
The others quickly scramble to gather their equipment and start to head towards Gerbo's position.
Kerisha, timing her charge with Gerbo's attack gets a surprise attack, then we go in the following order:
Round 1
Belanor
Goblin A, Goblin C, Goblin D
Orel, Grim
Goblin E
Gerbo, Kerisha

As Gerbo gives a nod that he's ready and releases the arrow, Kerisha is charging. Her giant sword almost dragging behind her, as she approaches the first goblin she swings the sword up and across in a wide arc, hoping to bisect her foe.

A look of brief terror on a goblin's face is all that Kerisha's attack is able to produce as the creature is just able to duck away from the vicious attack.
