It's Easter weekend here in the States. I'm know I'm usually unavailable on the weekends and we'll be doing some traveling, so worst case, I'm back Monday morning.
Glad everyone had some time to relax. I have no idea on the status of our fellow team members, valdattaMadun has the new baby and Northman was 'active' two weeks ago. I figure we'll move the story along with them being quiet for a bit and if we need to recruit, we can.
Thanks for the invite! I see that you guys have done quite a bit already. Here's a couple of questions that I'm sure are to be followed by some more.
1) Where should I start looking for what I need to know about this game in particular?
2) How are we handling character generation at this stage?

Yes, both of these things sound to be spot on accurate and completely reasonable. No need to wait for GM approval.
The players probably have a better read on XP, but I'm assuming if you make a starting character and then add 20 xp. You'll be in the ballpark. One of the things that I've like about Star Wars RPGs (except d20) is that XP differences aren't really all that detrimental.
As to the game, we're aiming for Rebel-ish, more Edge of the Empire, not so law-abiding types.
