They do fold up. They are the unpowered version, so definitely cheap enough to be disposable. But they do fold up easily and wear like a small book backpack.
no problem. Think about what you want to do, what your character would do. What your characters goals are. (you can be a little greedy :) ) Maybe you character always wanted a speeder, so you try to steer the group towards a ship full of those.
But I get what you're saying. This is the first time Tomas has done anything like this, and he's not comfortable with it, so he just wants it to be over.
FYI - my posts will likely be short and more reactive for a week or so. I just got into the 13th Age 2nd Edition playtest as a GM, and I'm going to be spending a lot of time trying to quickly get set up to run that. I'm still committed to this game though, and once I'm done with my initial 13A prep work, I'll get back to more detailed posting here.
Chance for Wielding is high, chance of hitting is not. :) From a game mech/rules point, two weapon combat needs to be one handed melee or Ranged-light pistols size blasters. It would look cool though.
@RAAMtentacles - Sorry, I guess if you were inside my head, you'd know :P You just need to declare if you're taking off, waiting for them to clear off the ramp, etc. We shouldn't need a roll unless you are going full throttle or doing a barrel roll or something equally as flashy/dangerous.
