OOC - Ongoing Game Questions

So an obligation of 10 basically doesn't have any benefits for me at creation, but if I were to have an obligation of 15 I'd get XP or credits from it?

Do I define what exactly it is or do I just write in "Bounty with a value of 15" and the gm gets to decide what exactly it is?

You can be as specific or as vague as you like. If you have something that you really feel goes with your character, spell it out. Or you can just write in "Bounty with a value of 15" and at some point I'll toss a Bounty Hunter or two at you and we'll see how it goes. :)

How much XP needs to be spent to increase characteristics?

And I guess I'm using XP to buy talents and skills as well?

You start with 100xp (some species change this by +/- 10 for special ablities). Plus I gave you guys 50 more so your not so far behind the long time players.

How many XP would I have to pay to get... Let's say willpower +1 for example?

Hey, @ChrSch - the cost is 10 x the level the stat would now be. So, for instance, to go from Willpower 1 to Willpower 2 costs 20 XP (10x2). To bump it up to 3, you'd pay an additional 30 XP (10x3). You pay for each +1 increase, so going from Willpower 1 to Willpower 3 costs 20 XP + 30 XP = 50 XP.

Unless Esidrix is using house rules, you can't use the +50 bonus XP he's giving us to raise stats, as those are only raisable during character creation (or with the Dedication talent at the bottom of most talent trees).

- Side Step 2 - 20XP

Do you think Ken would be able to get himself a thermal detonator? Seems like the sort of thing he'd like, I'm sure he wouldn't do anything silly with it...

@Mephistophilis - Oh I agree, I'm pretty sure that the thermal detonator that Ken found in the salvaged gear would be put to a responsible and totally not silly use...

I want to try and upgrade the ship while we're here ( I got the credits, and the ship has two hard points left.)
Not sure what to get. Any thoughts? Maybe a second transponder code? One that we keep 'clean'

@crazybirdman - That's wouldn't be any trouble for them to do here. Most any reasonable item, illegal or not should be easy enough to pick up.
