Chapter 1.1: It's Dangerous to go Alone...

Toshi licks his lips and loads his crossbow. "I negotiate with this."

"How high is the ceiling?"

I agree. A coordinated attack. I will attempt to stay ahead of it and maintain its attention while the rest of you attack at once."

"The ceiling is pretty high. Have we got any way to bring that thing down?"

"Sounds like it's just itching to come down after us. We'll just need to strategize. Anyone know anything about those things?"

"If the artifact that Perrin was alluding to is a part of this creature's hoard, I'm guessing that it won't be parting with it amicably."

"I don't know anything about dragons, but I'm guessing a youngling means there's a mother somewhere. I didn't see any treasure in there other than a rusty mace. Of course, it may be hidden away somewhere else."

"This thing is definitely evil, but it may have knowledge on what the orb that was stolen is."

I haven't encountered dragons in my travels, but I hear things.

"Some of coven members have had dealings with the creatures in the past...."

"Haven't dragons been extinct for ages? How did it even get here?"

"All I know of dragons are children's stories..."

"Well we have debated long enough. We are here for a reason and i don't intend to leave. This thing is evil, and is blocking the way to possibly figuring out whats going on with the kobold army. So lets put our ranged people back, Garn and myself in the front, and keep the fight going to this thing. Control the pace, and don't let it take to long to recover, and we can fell this foul beast."

"Coven members have told stories as well, although when listening closely it's almost as if some of the member have had actual run ins with the beasts" Hegy says as she reaches for her crossbow.

"Let's see.... Green, green, green..." she mumbles while fiddling with a bolt before adding. "Green! They like acid and are good swimmers if I recall. Also, if this one is young enough, it shouldn't be overly powerful."

With a final light touch of the bolt, Hegy readies her crossbow and takes position behind the others.

Maia stands in the middle of the pack, letting Istariel stand near the front with the other melee fighters.
