Exploring the southern rooms off of the main entry chamber, you find nothing of interest. As you enter the passageway to go further east, just before the dragon's chamber, you see more of those blue stones in a swirling pattern on the floor.
About halfway down the passage, and just a second too late, Xulara sees a flash of light as a bolt of energy flies out of an alcove ahead and strikes Garn in the chest (3 Damage). It appeared to track the large barbarian wherever he went.
A raspy voice and a beast's cry can be heard in the chamber to the southeast.

Toshi isn't one for heroics. "Just get the job done." has always been his motto. So he merely shrugs when Dahlia insists on taking the lead. He strains his feline eyes and ears forward to get a sense of what they're up against.
