2. Use any class and race from published sources and Keith Baker's Eberron books Morgrave Miscellany and Exploring Eberron. All optional features from Tasha's are go. You can select from most Backgrounds but not setting-specific backgrounds outside of Eberron (like the Ravnica Guilds).
WARNING: Magic will be affected in usual ways when you are near the Ring of Siberys, making it more powerful but also more unpredictable. If this kind of randomness isn't your thing, you may want to steer clear of casters this time around.
3. Stats are to be determined with 4d6 drop lowest. In addition, roll 2d6 and consult the Safety Net table below. You may choose to use your 4d6 rolled stats or your safety net array.

4. Equipment: any mundane items are free for the taking, including Full Plate and silvered weapons. Additional magic items will be determined from which patron the group chooses (see separate thread). We are not keeping track of encumbrance but be reasonable.
5. Starting Wealth: This game is just a single mission, not a whole campaign. Just like the Apollo astronauts didn't take their wallets to the moon, we'll leave our purses in a House Kundarak bank or under our mattress back home on Eberron.
